He was hoping deep down that the information he had gotten from Maxwell was a lie.
"Sir, The usual, depending on what they give me." Max said.
"They? Who else is in this business along with Eric?"
Daven asked.
Maxwell had been so clouded by fear that he hadn't even noticed that Daven had no idea about the illegal business. He was the one spilling all the secrets right now.
Realizing what he was doing, he shut his mouth.
"Tell me! Who else is involved," Daven slammed the table with his fist.
"His friends. I do not know them, but there are many sir," The man said. He was once again avoiding eye contact.
"You are lying," Daven raised his chin so that they could lock eyes.
"I swear!" He yelled.
"Shut the fuck up!" Daven fired.
