I left dad speechless and I went to my room to get ready for class. Two hours later, I was heading down the hallway to the classroom.

I walked to the end of one hallway before I turned to the next and I saw the classroom's door. The classroom was at the end of the hallway right in front of me and I walked towards it.

I walked and walked and walked and walked and - "Wait, what's happening!" I had been walking for ten minutes to a door that was less than a minute away.

' Detecting host is in an illusion. Would host like to breakout of it?'

I picked yes and I saw grandpa and grandma in front of me. I was still at the beginning of the hallway.

Grandpa spoke first "I just wanted to test your prowess and see if you are ready for this." He brought out a white robe and a clock. The clock was yellow at the sides and had a green inside.

I looked like the mixture of a compass and a clock. "These were made by our ancestor, Sariel Paragus. He made it for the chosen child to help him grow quick as soon as he becomes an overlord.

I thought it'd be a few hundred years before you became an overlord but look at you!, you're a peak rank 9!"

"Get straight to the point Peter!" Grandma said. "R-right, we just want to say we are proud of you and save the world from the approaching evil."

After that, they disappeared. I hadn't even gotten the chance to say anything.

The robe and was far bigger than me so I threw it into my inventory.

As for the clock, it was too heavy even with my overlord strength so into the inventory it went.

"Today's lesson will mainly be about this world and things you should know.

The name of our world is Mersus as you all know. A world which people say is endless. All attempts to see the end of this world have failed and it's been thousands of years since people gave up on it.

There are only two races in this world, the angels and the humans.

We have 2 empires and 17 kingdoms and 20 dukedoms in this world.

Both empires have 8 kingdoms and 10 dukedoms under them. I'm sure you want to ask about the last one, well, some people say it's real, some people say it's not.

It's called the ghost kingdom. It only appears at some time of the year and at the time of the year it appears people disappear and all scouts sent there never came back.

Those 5 colours determine the strength of beasts you see in a dungeon." Mom turned to the board and she scribbled the next topic onto it. 'Beasts and their levels.'

"Beasts are the creatures inside those dungeons that we kill for resources.

There are seven tiers of beasts,They are;

1. The basic tier

2. The intermidiate tier

3. The advanced tier

4. The saint tier

5. The divine tier

6. The immortal tier

7. The Apex tier

The difference in power between each level of beasts is like the difference between heaven and earth. Let me give you guys a warning, if you ever see an apex tier beast, RUN or hide or do whatever you can.

Don't look back, don't think about waiting for another person, focus on saving your life, that's all I'll say."

I noticed mum had a fearful look on her face. I wondered what happened. Hadn't she and dad defeated an apex tier beast. I decided to ask her later.

"Hidden dungeons are dungeon portals that are hidden from the world. Not even gods can sense them. They're always in the skies. We can only wait for them to explode or break.

Like the one that happened 10months ago. You'll hear a loud bang in the skies and let me warn you again. RUN."

"Why." I asked. "Good question. I told you to run because hidden dungeons have a 99.9% chance if having an apex rank beast. I won't say more, that's all you guys need to know for now.

' Team.' I thought, then it struck me. I could make use the party making function and use this chance to farm exp in this dungeon dive!!.
