As the Knight finally made it past the destroyed buildings, Mordred found a hill where two silhouettes of beings were fighting. The two looked beastly as they used hand-to-hand combat to battle. Mordred got closer, finally noticing that it was Mavislin fighting against a demon.
Of course, she'd say monster because of how tattered the opponents' wings were. But as the two beings kicked each other's legs, Mordred soon realized it was a fight between two siblings.
"Is this what you wanted? How much more destruction are you going to do, Benjamin?!" shouted Mavislin as she held her leg in the air.
No answer as the demonic thing leaned forward to grab Mavislin's legs. The girl growled as her legs glowed, increasing their strength. Next, Mavislin roared as she kicked Benjamin full force, causing the male to fly off into the side.
The two Valkyries battled each other as Mavislin shouted for Benjamin to wake up. Mordred felt confused as she stood by the sidelines and tried to follow the fight.
"I'm begging you... Benjamin... Please, wake up to your senses! Look at what you've done to our home!" shouted Mavislin as she tackled Benjamin onto the ground.
The demon was busy growling and roaring, unable to answer Mavislin. Finally, Benjamin got hold of Mavislin's ankle and swiftly threw her off to the side, with her body slamming into the ground. Mavislin quickly got back up and fought against her brother with another series of punches.
"Why... Why has it become like this?! We... I was told that you were doing fine... Everything was alright, everything was fine! So why am I fighting you? Why can't you see that our home is gone because of your destruction?" begged Mavislin as she kicked Benjamin's stomach.
Mordred flinched as Benjamin flew past her and destroyed a nearby boulder. Mavislin rushed past the still Knight and continued to exchange attacks with her brother despite the demon barely alive.
Finally, the Valkyrie got the upper hand by crippling the male's legs and delivering a solid punch into his abdomen. Benjamin didn't move, but his eyes seemed to regain some form of life as Mordred noticed them sparkle for split Tick.
"You've killed Mother... You've destroyed our home... Look around; what more do you want?" asked Mavislin as Benjamin looked up to his twin sister.
"I want to... Kill you. I want Valokia to die for what it's done to me," replied Benjamin as he gripped onto Mavislin's wrist and snapped it.
The Valkyrie instantly winced as she jumped backward to dodge Benjamin's kick. The two lunged at each other with their claws as both tried to gain the upper hand on the other.
But alas, they were twins until Mavislin felt something awoken and started emitting purple Elemental Energy with her golden lights. Benjamin saw the change and acted quickly by shooting out a massive orb exploding Dark Elemental Energy towards Mavislin.
The Valkyrie stepped to the side and dodged the attack, much to the anger of her twin.
"You had no idea what they did to me... They killed me; they put me in a dark box. And I hate it. They said Mother forced me into doing that. And now, I finally killed her. Like how I am going to kill you now," smirked Benjamin as his expression was akin to a madman.
Mavislin clenched her teeth as she saw her twin conjuring up tremendous amounts of Dark Elemental Energy, which was the Corrupt Element, and concentrating it into his palms. The female then reached into her pocket and pulled out five golden rings.
Without hesitation, Mavislin threw the rings on the ground, and they bounced upwards to create a barrier for the Valkyrie against her brother's attacks. The five gold rings started spinning midair as they floated in position.
Streams of golden Elemental Energy were drawn into the rings, creating five large petals and forming a giant flower. Mordred gasped as she recognized that flower shield.
"Roar. O' wind of Thunder and Lightning. Fan of steel, flames of perdition," chanted Mavislin as she closed her eyes.
"Abyss of the Horizon..." growled Benjamin as his hands shook.
"Black Wave Hibiscus!" shouted Mavislin as the flower shone brightly in black, gold, and purple.
"Vortex," replied Benjamin as he hurled a giant orb of smoky black Elemental Energy at Mavislin.
The two spells clashes with great power, gold against black. The spell blast was enough to level the entire ground to a flat surface. Mordred took out her blade and stabbed the floor in front of her so she could defend herself from the blast.
But since it was only an illusion, Mordred never felt anything as the dust cleared. The two beings stood against each other while Mordred walked up to them to get a closer look.
