Seal The Ends Of The World; Rhongomyniad!

"My comrade-in-arms are courageous in the battle. This is evident. My battle is not against Humanity. This is evident. Unlocking the Eight of the Thirteen Virtues... Hail from the heavens, Arcane Grand Orders; the Sixth Order!" I recited as the Lance started feeling heavy.

Despite the weight, I tried my best and used both hands to lift the Holy Lance above my shoulder and to point at Fabian, who was also ready to unleash his attacks. Eight Restraints gone should be enough... Right? Because if it isn't... I am going to demand Mavislin for a MONTH's leave!

I looked to the enemy; he was primed and ready to drive a hole through my head with the darkened version of Holy Lance. We were about to cry out its proper name! And hopefully, Mordred doesn't kill me for using the same weapon that sent her to the Void.

"Rhongo..." said Fabian, as swarms of black Elemental Energy surrounded his arm.

Crap! That guy was done charging up his attack?! That's not fair! That's not fair, even if it was a knockoff version of the real deal! Vania, hurry it up, please!

"MYNIAD!" shouted the Illusion Mage first as I wasn't ready to unleash my spell yet.

I cursed under my breath for failing to release the spell against Fabian. But at the very last Tick, before the two weapons could meet, Duncan threw himself in the way of the tunneling black Lance and intercepted it by having the spectral image of the Ankou blocking the Lance.

I widened my eyes at both males trying their best to defend against the Holy Lance that rope to the Ends of the World... This battle tactic was reminiscent of a specific strategy I used during my multiplayer games.

When someone is about to do a heavy attack, I have someone else intercept the enemy's attack first. Then, once the shield breaks, it would be my turn to attack, clashing with the attack.

Since the enemy's spell would have lost power, trying to shatter the shield, the follow-up attack won't need to have so much strength. And that's precisely what Duncan and I were aiming for. So I know that it would be effective, but it's a one-shot thing.

When Duncan nodded, I quickly collected my thoughts and went through with the spell by calling out its name. Everything is ready to be unleashed! Let's not waste this chance, Vania!

"Rhongomyniad! Seal the Ends of the World!" I shouted, finally getting enough power to throw the Lance at my enemy.

It was just in time as Duncan was at its limit with the Ankou as his shield, shattering and allowing my Lance to pass through. However, as the black Lance met with my white one, the spells clashed with great force, causing the ground underneath them to be destroyed.

I was worried my spell wouldn't be strong enough against Fabian's alternate Lance, but the two attacks didn't seem to fade anytime soon. No, instead, I think both spells are about to explode!

I quickly ran towards Duncan and wrapped an arm around his shoulder, bringing his body downwards to the ground as the spells' conflict exploded into a vibrant display of black and white.

Everything went silent as my ears had that high-pitched, piercing sound from when you throw an explosive at close range. It lasted for a Tick, and my ears went back to normal. I looked to my side to see if Duncan was alright, and he nodded...

Though, it didn't seem like he was too pleased with me shoving his head into the ground so forcefully.

"I don't need to learn the taste of soil tonight... I already hate the scent of bones and ashes, so this would be hell for me," replied Duncan as we both got up and he started getting rid of the dirt on his lips.

"Sorry, it was the last Tick thing... I didn't mean to push that hard into the soil," I apologized as I scanned the area.

The distant walls nearly wiped the place out at the property's perimeter. And we might've taken a level off the hill we were standing on... It took another Tick before the Elemental Energy strain rocked my body, causing me to collapse to my knees.

I couldn't feel pain, so I didn't know my legs had been overworked since I released Karna's Lance. But I guess I was at my limit since my legs decided to stop working there and then. They literally just clocked out from their shift, and now I'm left to fight with only the upper part of my body.

"Lady Lizzie, are you alright?" asked Duncan in a very monotonous way.

"I'm fine, but I don't think I can walk home..." I replied, jabbing my out-of-order legs with my finger.
