"Go on ahead. The vines won't strangle you. Each person's experience through the doors of the Old Chapel is made to be different. The encounters with the opening have always been unique to the individual, so it would be your memory to keep. Now then, let's not waste any more time."
"Part the vines like you are parting curtains and see the beautiful place and building we call home," introduced Mavislin as I took a step forward.
I did as Mavislin told me, and the view surprised me. It was a clearing of heavily decorated greenery. The grass floor wasn't too thick from what I had expected. But as I scanned around the area, the trees were large enough to be walls for the place. So I took a giant step into the field.
A ripple of rainbow-colored Elemental Energy appeared from the foot that was forward, but I couldn't see my Elemental Energy Bar depleting. That ripple was like an alarm to signal to the occupants that someone new was coming.
Mavislin and Z glanced at each other before placing their hands on my shoulders. I was baffled as to why they were stepping in before getting the main building to manifest itself. The Valkyrie mouthed a few words of encouragement before standing at a certain point in the field.
The entire area was the shape of a circle, and six different glowing circles appeared after the ripple of Elemental Energy was sent throughout the place. The smaller circles were glowing in the same colorful colors as the ripper from earlier.
After Z and Mavislin made their way to two of those glowing circles, I stepped forward again, creating more fluctuations. I couldn't believe my eyes when the next stage followed. Raiyen and the Head Knight of Dawn teleported to the two circles at the back of the field.
The circles were positioned in the way of a hexagram, with the smaller circles as the points of the symbol. Since this was the case, I couldn't see the Head Knight clearly to make out his features, but I could feel his terrifying Aura from where I stood.
A single circle was right in front of me, and I watched as a beautiful middle-aged lady landed in the marked area. The lady sprouted a pair of Sapphire blue wings and a body that would shame models everywhere. It's such a pity that she is wearing a sky blue long dress covering her body.
This woman's features were soft and gentle like a mother's. The lady neatly tied her strawberry-blonde hair into a single braid, and her fringer was left unkempt. The lady was as pale as Mavislin and had a confident smile as she greeted me with a nod.
She had the bluest of eyes that I've ever seen. It was looking into the ocean when I stared into the woman's eyes. I jolted back into reality and bowed to greet her back. But to my surprise, she turned her heels and flew to the back of the circle before turning to look forwards again. Did I anger her?
I hope not. Because I've got no doubt about one thing; that's the High Queen of the Arks. Before my thoughts could process anything else, it was time for the Headmaster himself to show up. And the book wasn't lying about him having an emperor-like vibe.
My eyes widened as the Headmaster bowed. I couldn't help but gawk at the man's handsome features. This Mage had short, black hair with a tint of blue. Along with his wife, the man that stood me had a pair of blue eyes. To top everything off, he's got a beauty mark underneath his left eye.
From what I understood about this organization, the leaders of each Ark don't hold a rank amongst themselves. So, for example, except for the High Queen and Headmaster, the rest of the Founders aren't ranked differently from each other.
Mavislin could have the authority as Z or Baldwin. But none of those four could overstep the Headmaster or High Queen. But they've got a ranking of power amongst themselves that doesn't affect their titles at the job. So it's like, who's the most powerful Mage out of the six of them.
If I had a chance to guess... Minus the two in charge, I would say the next one would be the Head Knight, followed by Z, then Mavislin, and finally that Time Mage that has been glaring at me for a long time now. What did I do to deserve such a glare from that boy?
Ah, Vania was kind enough to replay my first encounter with him in my vision. I did almost wound the poor guy had it not been for Mavislin's kick. He started the fight first!
