Chapter 15

"Wonderful!" A dark yet beautiful voice cackled out as her dark eyes glared down at the wolf and blond man below her. She perched there upon the tree branch as she smiled at her new prey from above. Her demonic eyes glowing red as she slowly and silently moved around the tree to keep a good view on them.

She loved to slaughter anything she could get her hands on. The demonic blood running through her veins gave her a thirst for slaughter that was hard to sate. If she saw something alive it only gave her the urge to watch it die by her own hands. Thrill would fill her heart as she watched something die by her own hands.

Like a flash her body flew across the trees until she was just in front of the pair and she let her body fall from the tree. Her feet silently landing on the ground in front of them. A smile spread across her face as she watched them both jump back in shock from seeing her fall before them. Gratified by the fear upon their faces in that moment filled her and it was almost enough to make her body feel drunk with demonic pride.

"Hello!" She smiled at the man as she innocently wriggled her body. Her eyes curiously glancing between the man and the huge wolf at his side. She was smart enough to know it was a Shadow Wolf upon first glance, but she had no care in the world for what it was. No matter what it was she just wanted to feel it die by her hands.

Her hand slowly trailed its way up her body to stroke one of her horns then play with her hair as if she was shy to be near them. Her mind was racing with ways to torture them both until they bled out, but she had no idea what the pair were thinking as she could see the man clearly trying to ignore her while glancing between her and the wolf. He seemed to be whispering to the beast. Annoyance was starting to fill her as she hated to be ignored.

In a flash out of rage she stopped stalling to toy with them and rushed straight for the man. Her speed was enough to cause a boom to sound in the air as she moved. The man lost his senses for a second and jumped back as the wolf lunged in front of him to defend him from the blow. The demon and wolf collided in shear force.

"BANG!"

A loud noise from the collision sounded through the air. The Wolf tried to grab the demon with his fangs, but the demon was too fast and avoided his fangs.

"Vorbuk, shes demon for sure so be careful! They are known to be crafty!" Leo shouted as he drew out his sword. If it was a simple half succubus it would have been easier, but he knew that going up against a half demon was going to be a lot harder so he had to keep his wits about himself.

"ha ha ha ha ha!" The demon laughed in joy at the fight before her. She could see how nervous the young man was and it made her body shudder in thrill. The wolf was enough to give her a fight and the man's nerves were enough to find joy in toying with him. It all felt like a game to her and she felt like she was the player enjoying it.

Her body vanished and went to speed at the man again, causing another bang to sound throughout the air as her and the wolf collided once again. She was not sure how the wolf was able to keep up with her speed to protect the man from the collisions, but at the same time of being annoyed by being blocked she felt joy at fighting someone on par with herself. A smile rise upon her face as she dashed away again and quickly flew at the man again.

She was planning to outsmart the wolf and collide herself into him with her horns down to ram right into his body. Joy filled her at the thought of how the wolf would flail in pain if he felt her horns shred their way through his flesh.

"BANG!"

She flew across the ground straight at the man again, but her plan did not go as she wanted it to. Whether the wolf had seen through her movements or just timed it perfectly he had trapped her in his on attack. Instead of just blocking her he had lunged and lowered his body down. His jaw was wide open and her petite body had collided itself straight into his mouth. Closing his jaw tightly around her by her waist the wolf clenched down on her.

The demon flailed and screeched in pain as warm purple blood flowed from her body where his teeth was clenching down on her. She couldn't break free from his massive jaw and she tried to ram her horns downward at the wolf, but they would not reach him due to the angle he was clenching onto her from the side at. The pain flowed through her as she tried to struggle and strike at him with her fists.

"BAM!" "BAM!" "BAM!"

She pounded on the wolf with her fists as hard as she could to try and get free, but the wolf just grunted and growled as it held on. The young man slowly approached them with his sword drawn and the demon's eyes widened in fear. Crying out in pain she tried to struggle harder then ever to get free, but it was no use for her. The sword raised in the air above her and came down fast. The last thing she saw was the look of the young man as he swung his sword at her. Her head flopped tot he ground and the wolf finally let go.

The half demon was eradicated from the area and would no longer be able to hunt down the merchants that traveled to and from Gladstone. Leo released a proud sigh as he smiled at the wolf. He could see the annoyance in the wolf for having to endure being struck so many times by the half demon, but little did he know the wolf was also feeling pride in the fact that he was able to survive such a beast. Though, the Vorbuk's body ached all over from the force of the collisions and the beating he had taken. The idea of complaining wasn't something he wanted to do, however. It would simply make him feel embarrassed to complain that he hurt all over from enduring the demons attacks. Though, when one thinks about it even Leo knew that enduring the attacks was amazing in it's own way. Her speed and force was enough to make banging noises just from the air alone! Even Leo was not stupid enough to think Vorbuk did not feel pain from that! Though if Vorbuk did not want to speak about being in pain he was not going to be the one to bring it up and just let the wolf pretend to be strong enough to endure it.
