(240) Why Not Mom?

"She's really pretty!"

Geth smiled at his daughter, who was walking around Sindri in circles as if inspecting her. Her eyes were aglow with delight, having found a new friend with which to play.

"Come on! Let me show you the toys that Uncle Bruce made for us!" Elsa grabbed Sindri by the hand and pulled her up the stairs of the rustic treehouse.

Sindri looked back toward Geth and Zolis, a sheepish grin on her face. Zolis giggled and gave Geth a peck on the cheek before following the pair up, hoping to alleviate some of Sindri's discomfort.

Geth shook his head and watched as the trio disappeared up the winding stairs, the echoes of their footsteps becoming quiet as they breached the threshold of the second floor.

A chortle escaped his lips as he thought of the awkwardness that had taken hold of Sindri. He knew that his daughter's reaction would be a bit over the top and had warned her before entering the abode.
