Chapter 25: Escapes

" Ahhhh!"

Scream came out of Marissa as thousand of locust like insects flew out the door.

While they were were on the ground, a cloaked man immediately run out the door. Using the bugs as cover he was able to escape from the officers.

" Hehe ,you mortals are too weak!"

He mocked as he run away further. The elder officer then pulled his gun and started firing while he duck down, which have made his accuracy shitty. The shots miss the cloaked man but he flinched as the bullets pass him .

" You bunch of Insects!"

He then turned around with an extremely angry face. He wave his hand in which manipulated the bugs that in turn swarm down the group .

" Argh!"

"Ahh!!"

They simultaneously screamed as the bugs bit them taking out a bit of their flesh making them bleed .

The professor endured the pain and itch and pulled out a can from his coat pocket.

He immediately ignite it nozzle and started spraying fire.

Countless bugs fell as the smell of burn prawn waft through the air.

Seeing this the cloak man then started running again with a contorted face.

The officers immediately recover and dust off the bugs on their body and then took off to pursue.

The cloaked man jump of the wall and then continued to run with all his might until he reach the road which he then rode in a car.

Seeing that the culprit were close on escaping, all the officer rain bullets at the car which in turn made the cloak man scream

"Ahhhhh ! You insects asked for this!"

He then made hand signs as blood flowed down his lip.

" Hehe , let's see if you can pursue me now!"

The professor still hold the corpse bug, it then called his attention as the bugs begun to rattle and rampage inside the box.

The professor was confuse but a bad premonition suddenly shock though his mind.

He threw the box away from them , and as the premonition ensue , the Insect explode into a green cloud which float in a sinister way.

" Poison Gas !"

The professor then immediately stand up and pulled his student they then immediately run away from the effect of gas.

Inside the building a more dense green cloud immediately covered the floor. The people still left inside was then devoured by the gas.

Bumps and blood instantly appears on their skin which after few second , the people fell down one by one. The gas quickly came out of all the ventilation of the building.

The people outside notice the gas , but as they saw some people fell down as they were reach by the gas panic insued immediately.

The explanation and the panic scream made the pursuing officer distracted which allowed the cloaked man drive away.

" Shit !"

The elder officer pulled out his radio and gave order to his men that are now encircling the perimeter to intercept the car but the voice on the other side was cut off with a scream.

" God Damn it!!"

He can only curse.
