New Arcane World ( 1 )

Cyril had no idea that someone has been following him for a while now.

Anyway, if someone has a killing intent directed to him, he would be able to easily response.

Aside from that, he has a lot of things in his mind at the moment. He was unable to find any familiar Awakened aside from Asta Bleuer in the tower. He went to that place for the purpose of recruiting some talented awakened but it obviously didn't go as planned.

Right now, since he already has a clue about the Arcane World where Elves are possibly living, he wanted to find out more about this by visiting the Aeson Company.

"Hmmm… I need to find those evil Awakened… I also want to recruit talented Awakened. However, confirming the company's possession of the Entrance Crystal is also important."

Cyril said in his mind.

At this time, he's still clueless that someone is approaching him.

Because the demoness doesn't have an evil intention directed to him, he was still unable to sense her presence.

The young lady seems to have a charming aura with her attractive body and scent. She's wearing a jacket and jeans that would easily allow her to mix in the crowd.

'She's looking at me… Who is this person?' Cyril felt a bit uncomfortable being stared at.

"Is there anything I can help you with?" Cyril politely asked as he observed her. She doesn't seem to possess any weapons. She has fair skin, black hair, and clear blue eyes…

Cyril is sure that he had never met her before even in his previous life.

The lady asked and with her tone, it seems that she's serious about the question.

'Should I know you?' Cyril wanted to ask but kept his silence for now.

He didn't want to provide information on what he know and what he doesn't not in front of a stranger. In this case, he would rather stay silent until he recalled her name or perhaps if she introduced herself.

Then, as they were staring at each other, Cyril heard Xagan laughing behind him. It seems that he knows something that he doesn't.

However, it's not enough for him to waste some of his life to know the identity of this woman.

"I'm sorry. I'm busy. If you have nothing else to say, I'll be leaving now."

Cyril said before he step aside and continued on his way.

They are still in Kaiser City and the company he's looking for shouldn't be too far from here.

The young man glanced at the lady one more time to see whether she would say something else. However, even after walking past her, she just stare at him as if she was trying to look into his soul.

It is quite creepy and very unusual to Cyril. As a matter of fact, he already protected himself with his Awakened Aura in case this woman suddenly attacked him.

As he walked a few meters away from her, he heard her whispering something. It is almost inaudible so he didn't really catch what she was trying to say.

He only understood a few words and she seems to be asking herself whether she made a mistake.

"Sir Xagan… Is she related to the Demon you saw a while ago?"

Cyril asked after leaving the lady behind. He had just connected the dots. This high-ranking demon already hinted to him the presence of another member of the demon race.

If he could detect the other demons near him, the other might be able to do the same to him… Aside from that, he caught Xagan laughing just now so it just makes sense to have this reasoning.

"Haha… You're quite quick to pick up. I'm pretty sure that she looks just like a normal human even for you."

Xagan answered confirming his thoughts.

"Well… It wasn't that hard to guess. Did he sense your existence in my body?"

"I'm not sure as well. You know how weak I am right now so I can't investigate much if it's not your request."

"Is that so? Then I guess I'll just avoid this place in the future. I don't want to encounter them in this life."

Cyril replied since dealing with other demons is already too much. He doesn't even know whether they will be friendly to him or not.

Time quickly passed and Cyril arrived in front of the Aeson Company, one of the largest car manufacturers in the country.

He used his advanced Crystal Hunter and confirmed that they actually have four Entrance Crystals in their possession.

Since they are the main sponsor of the Northern Badger Guild, he actually thought that they would have sent these crystals to the guild already.

'Are they exploring these Arcane Worlds? No way… This is a car factory, not a guild. I'm pretty sure that this company would remain as car manufacturer even after a decade.'

Cyril muttered as he looks for a way to check their Entrance Crystals. He doesn't have any Artifacts that would allow him to steal them yet but he's thinking of at least getting information about the Arcane Worlds that they have.

'Should I sell them a lesser healing potion?' Cyril thought for a moment before erasing that idea. He would look too suspicious if that happened.

In the end, he can only look to Xagan for assistance.

After all, taking an unprotected Crystal is only worth 50 days… He could still spend that much as long as he could get the precious Arcane World for himself.

The only problem now is how to find the Crystal where the Elves are possibly living…

As soon as he reached this thought, he noticed the bag in his hands containing the items he bought and got an idea.
