Chapter 88: Court of Athena's Numerous Dilemmas

Erland turned the sharp edge of his sword towards Elatha's throat and asked in the language of the underworld,

"What do you plan on doing with it? Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. Perhaps we can also negotiate."

Elatha replied, "Even though your words bear no hostility I can tell that if I take one wrong move, you will cut my throat. With the unknown truth, I will unseal the secret you hold, Hephaestus."

"I hold no secret worthy of knowing. But perhaps, this world does. I hope what you are doing is noble and true and does not bear any ill intention towards a single innocent soul." Erland moved his sword away. "Be careful, Mother Athena is planning something." He punched Elatha on his face. When he looked back, he saw the giants with their jaws dropped.

As Erland was walking away he said out loud as if he was furious, "Even hearing your mother tongue didn't make you say a word about your ignoble intentions."
