Chapter 50: Sequence of Misfortune

At the Naos, afternoon. It was nearly the time of lunch and Erland was starving. He couldn't eat or rest because of the sudden accusation. Now that he has a chance to explain the situation to his teacher, he felt a relief as he was chatting with his master in the Naos. They has already left the library as everyone were at a suspense to see a government leader who is known for not have a single amount of respect for the Lords.

Both Erland and Hadrian were in the 'waiting room', Hadrian sitting in his usual demeanor whilst Erland was looking frustrated.

"So, Erland. What have you caused this time?" said Hadrian. He seemed have the usual grin on his face along with a pondering look.

"Hadrian, do you think that I could do such a thing without any reason?" said Erland. He seemed to be calm yet misery could be seen in him. He was drenched in sweat which made it clear that he fears of something.
