Chapter 47: An Overly Ordinary Day

Erland sighed. "(An ordinary day for me I guess...)"

Erland opened the door. He looked left and right to see who it was but there was no one. He looked down and noticed a small basket which had several shells.

There was a small letter in the basket. It said that she is a student from the school and she wanted to give him the shells she has collected so far. It gave a warmth in Erland's heart as the worry was wiped away. He checked the surroundings to find the specific student but he couldn't.

Gladly, he took each of the shells out. There was one that had a pink hue and another that was completely white.

"(So it really was just a kid. I gotta thank this kid later though.)" Erland kept the shells back in the basket and kept it somewhere high enough so they stay unscathed.

He pulled the chair and sat down again, taking some papers out. Those were answer sheets of the recent test. He started to grade the papers with immature handwritings.
