Chapter 41: First Day at Hadrian's House

"(Oy oy oy oy oy. What the peanut butter heck did I just see...)"

Erland was left with a mixture of feelings and a clueless expression whilst Hadrian was grinning mischievously.

"Ew...What's so funny about them kissing like that?(It's good to see that they are gonna make up but...it's too awkward.)" Erland's face was filled with a disgust.

Hadrian smirked. "Oh, come on. It was a passionate kiss, enough to be shown in an opera even. You are still a kid so you wouldn't understand. We have to go now." He walked away.

"But why did you peek?" Erland looked up at Hadrian with visible confusion.

Hadrian turned his head towards Erland. "So did you!" 

"WHAT? But you made me see that. (You old fart...)"

After such an awkward experience, Erland was back at Hadrian's house, which was still the same as ever since the time Erland has first visited. They sat on the couch of the living room with cup of tea in their hands.
