Chapter 122: The Dramatic Cockatoo

In Igor's room, he and Erland were sitting face to face on the couch with Logi and the cockatoo beside them. Unexpectedly for Erland, it was like any other normal conversation he has had so far.

"I rescued this cockatoo quiet some day ago and it has been staying with me ever since. He is obedient and likes to stay clean so I don't mind having him around." said Igor.

"I see..." Erland looked at he cockatoo. "I believe you used it to lure my companion here."

"Well yes. I couldn't just invite an heir of Lord Athena to my room and expect him to come so I had to do it..."

"Why did you?" Erland asked straightforwardly.

"The trial between me and Erik went in vein...It was an unfair trial which's justification was a letter, mocking my presence. I mustn't say anything like this but I must..." Igor frowned. "Lord Athena has used this issue as an excuse to have a reunion with my Lord Lada. And she has made a mockery of you as well..."
