CHAPTER 78: STAR FIELD
Jia sighed deeply
She summoned all the court members
She took the crown from its pillow
"I plan on going on an adventure to a star field. I don't know how long I'm going to stay. So, in the meantime, I'm making Physician Chan the emperor regent. You all should help him govern this empire" Jia said with a cold smile
She took out her geno armament; great sword and handed it to physician Chan
She placed the crown on his head
"Listen, the great sword is for troubled times. Y'all don't need to do anything. Just show them the sword. You're going to see magic" Jia said with a sinister smile
"Oh and I didn't say I wasn't going to come back so y'all don't try shit with this place or Chan or else, there'll be trouble" Jia ordered before disappearing out of sight
"Crystal butterfly, take me to S2684" Jia ordered with a sigh
"Command accepted. Initializing space ship" She heard a voice say
A large crystal butterfly shaped space ship appeared
It looked to be made of diamonds
"Enter the space ship" She heard a robotic voice said
Jia entered cautiously
The inside part of the spaceship appeared to be sculpted by the most divine hands
There were no points in joining
"Everything you need is present here. Commencing journey.." The voice said
It sounded a bit mechanical but echoed a little bit
Jia felt a few jolts as the spaceship took off
A cute girl with short, curly, rainbow-colored hair and rainbow-colored butterfly wings
She wore a short gown paired with sandals
Everything about her appeared vague. She seemed to be an illusion yet she appeared real
A distortion between illusion and reality
"Hi," Jia said looking around
" I'm here to keep you company " The butterfly girl said
Jia tried to touch her but her hand got zapped
Steam fizzled out of her hand
Jia screamed in pain
The butterfly girl had a pitiful look on her face
Jia touched her severally but kept on getting zapped
Her hand was bleeding blue blood
"Received crystal body," The voice said
"Activate crystal body," The voice said again
Jia found herself covered up by the same clear material used to make the spaceship
It covered her up until it reached half of her face and stopped. It formed a robotic eye on the other half of her face. The robotic eye rotated at intervals and emitted a calming black light
"This feels like a cyborg," Jia said with a green
"Uh voice, Is there a crystal language," Jia asked
" Are you talking to me? You can just say butterfly " The mechanical voice said
"Yeah yeah. So is there a crystal language?" Jia asked again
"Yes yes. But that ain't important. The thing is, we would soon enter the void region and it's not safe. That's why I equipped you with the crystal body. The eye will help you channel your laser powers. Just a tip, we're most likely going to fight with an old, angry octopus" The voice said giving the chills
Jia's imaginative power already started to work. She felt the need to scream but she suppressed it
A devilish idea came to her mind
"Entering the void region...Beep.Beep.Beep" The voice said
A deathly silence ensued
"Supreme Xue" Jia called out
Her voice echoed all over the space ship but Supreme Xue did not appear
"Sorry, but the void isn't under Supreme Xue's Jurisdiction. And Ama won't let her get here anymore because of what she did last time" The voice explained
"What did she do?" Jia asked in curiosity
A talisman floated over and landed in Jia's hand
"Oh, she tried to colonize the void. According to Ama, no one is allowed to do that " The voice explained
" I'm not able to get here for some reason. I'm sorry. If you ever cross that octopus, you can fight it but that turtle, it's a no " The talisman projected a voice and it crumbled into pieces
The voice was Supreme Xue's
"What turtle is sh~ Soo beautiful " Jia admired after spotting a floating 'kingdom '
It was very beautiful and decorated with pearls
Suddenly, it grew hands and legs. Then it grew a head
It was the legendary space turtle. It was extremely huge. Each part of it screamed power
A cyclonic wind started to blow turning the spaceship over and over. Then it stopped
The whole spaceship was covered in a black tentacle-like material
The giant octopus
The shaking of its massive head alone threw the ship away
"Xue is delusional. How am I supposed to fight this?" Jia panicked
Then she remembered that lasers could cut through anything
She aimed at its head and started to shoot the lasers at its head
She shot them consistently at a particular spot
She felt a weird energy enter her divine soul but didn't know what it was
The octopus eventually got slashed in half
Its body fell at the speed of light into the endless abyss
The turtle immediately opened its mouth
A tornado began and sucked them into the turtle's mouth
Jia immediately lost consciousness
