CHAPTER 54:CHARM SECT

Jia entered a door that looked eerie

It was filled with different kinds of poisons

Jia's face lit up in excitement. She stared at the various materials and slowly closed the door

She entered another door filled with different food materials

Jia stared at them with a quizzical look

"The food in this world is quite different" Jia muttered tasting some of the food materials

She gathered some materials and started to cook the food

Jia noticed that the meat was filled with spiritual energy

Jia shrugged and tried to cook something

She thought for a while and settled upon a particular dish

Jia started to make the food with full concentration

She didn't notice when Damon entered

He hugged her from behind scaring Jia

She almost screamed in fear

"Shh. It's me" Damon whispered

"You scared me," Jia said breathing heavily

"What are you doing?" Damon asked staring at the food

"Go away. You don't need it" Jia said playfully

Jia put the food on a plate and carried it and pretended to leave

"You're leaving me? I'm hurt" Damon said dramatically

"Get over here," Jia said fiercely

Damon jumped into Jia's arms and kissed her cheeks

"I'm here. " Damon said with an expectant look

"I smell good food. I'm hungry" Armin said coming out

Jia looked at the plate and saw that she had only made four pieces of it

Damon glared at Armin but Armin ignored him

Jia took two pieces and left the rest for them

Jia watched in amusement how Armin and Damon fought childishly

She laughed in amusement

" Just take one each. What's so hard " Jia said still laughing

" Miss, Can I know your name? Your food is good. Tell me, what's this called " Armin asked munching on the piece in his hand

Damon glared at Armin in warning but Armin was naturally a stubborn person

"I am Xue " Jia replied

"Armin, get back in there," Damon said with a growl

"Are you chasing me away?" Armin said with a pout slowly walking away

Jia winked at Armin as if to say 'Later'

"Why did you do that," Damon asked harshly holding Jia's hand tightly

Jia felt pain but she kept up an expressionless front

" Where I come from, It's a kind of greeting," Jia said coldly

Damon dropped her hand

"I'm sorry," He said apologetically

"It seems Armin is older than you" Jia muttered

"No. We're the same age. He wants to look that way while I want to keep my good looks" Damon said with a grin

"Make more of that stuff another time," Damon said drowsily

He closed his eyes and slept comfortably

THE NEXT DAY

Damon met Jia awake staring at him

"You didn't sleep?" Damon asked

"No, I just want to stare at your pretty face," Jia said caressing his hair

"Hey, that's what I am supposed to do," Damon said with a pout

"Yeah, and you slept off," Jia said casually making Damon's face turn white

"Armin" Damon yelled purposely to disturb him

The latter came out with a livid look

"What. Do.You.Want" Armin said gritting his teeth in anger

When he saw Jia, he slightly calmed down

"I need some of those puppets of yours," Damon said directly

"Why? Oh, you've grown weak?" Armin taunted

"Her" Damon answered with a glare

Armin snapped his hands and two hefty tall men appeared

Their appearance scared Jia but she felt relief when she remembered that they were puppets

"Damn. Thank you" Damon couldn't help but stay

A huge grin hung on Armin's face

Each step the puppets took shook the ground

"You're a shorty" Damon teased

Jia glared daggers at him making him laugh in amusement

"Let's explore the moon city," Damon said extending his hand to her

"Armin, we're going out" Damon notified and disappeared

They explored around for a bit and found themselves surrounded by some masked people

'Let them do what they wish " Damon told Jia telepathically

They made some movements attempting to knock them out

Jia and Damon pretended to faint

"Weaklings" They heard one of them say

Jia grinned internally but there was no expression on her face

The masked people threw them roughly to the ground in another location

"Senior sister Yun, We've brought them," One of the masked people said

" Hmm Not bad, " A woman said with an alluring voice

She caressed Damon's face with her long nails

Anger coursed through Damon's entire being but he controlled himself

After doing a mini countdown, Damon pretended to stir and wake up

Jia also pretended to wake up

"Hello handsome," The woman said in an alluring voice

Jia's face contorted into a grimace

"I heard that you killed Chuxue. You didn't have to do that. She just wants you. I mean, She's prettier than that girl" The woman said with a pout

She stared at Jia with disdain

"Say.That.Again" Damon said with anger

His killing intent rapidly rose

"Say.That.Again!" Damon yelled

His eyes turned blood red

His short invisible fangs grew to a terrifying length

Black demonic wings spread out from his back and a tail that looked like a whip appeared

His muscles expanded in size and he rose to a terrifying height

The woman shivered in fear

He grabbed her and tore her in half splashing her blood all over the place

Damon growled in anger

"The charm sect must cease to exist!!" Damon yelled angrily flying away

Jia's feet were stuck on the ground and she couldn't move
