Two days swiftly past, it was now the middle of winter and the freezing temperatures started to become more and more noticeable.

The days became seemingly shorter and nightfall came earlier.

Unfortunately, this also meant that it was soon school season again.

Every aristocratic noble in the Wang Kingdom below the age of eighteen and above the age of thirteen was expected to attend to school.

Embroidery, maths, history and art classes where all for the girls to take and sword-training, martial arts, politics and literacy were all for the boys to learn.

"Miss, the matriarch asked for everyone to attend to dinner tonight." Xiao Fei politely reported.

Ye FengTian had a simple white dress and grey fur coat on, her hair was flowing gently down her back, she had no makeup, no jewellery on her, yet she still looked ethereally beautiful. Her amethyst eyes were cold and dark, unreadable as usual.

Suddenly she closed her eyes, with a chilly voice she ordered Xiao Fei to leave the room. Xiao Fei was confused yet she still left silently.

Just as Xiao Fei closed the bedroom door shut, the room inside suddenly dropped a few degrees in temperature.

The originally closed eyes of Ye FengTain abruptly opened, her eyes were now glowing amethyst.

She slowly brought one hand up to where her heart is, clutching it tightly, her beautiful face instantly turned pale.

She felt another wave of pain flood over her.

A shadow of darkness completely pitch black seemed to loom over her slender and petite figure.

Ye FengTian closed her eyes and brought her slightly shaking hand down to a meditating position. She breathed in a deep breath and silently shut her eyes.

The darkness seemed to slowly fade into the background, not a trace could be seen, not one single evidence displayed that there had once been an uncontrollable darkness within the room.

'These sudden rushes of pain...seems to be getting worse.'

Ye FengTian got ready to leave as she disappeared from her room and appeared soundlessly behind Xiao Fei.

"Ahhh!" Xiao Fei screamed as she stared at that beautiful countenance of her Miss.

Xiao Fei had been worried that something would happen to her miss so at the last second she decided to turn around And check on her.

However, she never expected to meet the chilly eyes of Ye FengTian!

Ye FengTian's eyes seemed as cold and unreadable as usual, yet Xiao Fei felt a certain darkness was present now. Although, Xiao Fei felt she must have been imagining things, after all, when she blinked her eyes again, the darkness seems to be replaced again by coldness.

Deciding to not linger any longer Xiao Fei followed her miss as the two walked towards the entrance of the dinner hall.

As the two figures walked silently towards the dinner hall, Xiao Fei didn't notice that the surroundings around Ye FengTian had become significantly darker.
