Reborn in Valyria: King of Dragons

I'm Jay, and I can say that I'm a simple person who has lived my life depending on my parents' hard work in their grocery store. Later on, I will inherit when my parents grew older. While my friends and cousins thrived in their lives for the better, I remained satisfied with what I have, even though it's not something to be proud of. Since childhood, I've had a deep love for reading and watching anything related to dragons. Even at a point where others worried about their future, I stayed lost in my dreams with dragons and fantasies.

In my twenties, I managed to complete a college degree in civil engineering, albeit barely. Even though my parents were quite happy that I managed to pass the degree, to my surprise, they even bought a laptop for me from their savings so that I wouldn't need to rent a laptop when needed. It was during this time that I watched the Game of Thrones series and House of Dragons series, and I became addicted to the point where I wouldn't turn off my laptop until I had completely read the remaining books in the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series. In the end, I tragically passed away due to sleeping with my laptop, which overheated and caused the battery to explode. It was a terrible way for me to die.

In the realm of darkness, Jay struggled to regain his senses. He tried to open his eyes, move his hand, but nothing responded. Panic set in as he wondered, "What's happening to me?" A mysterious voice echoed, "You're in my domain, soul."

Frantically, Jay searched for the source of the voice but found only an abyss of deep darkness. He asked cautiously, "Who are you?" The voice replied, "I'm chaos." Jay questioned, "Chaos?" It retorted, "That's all you need to know."

With a heavy heart, Jay inquired, "Am I dead?" The voice confirmed, "You are." Jay sighed, resigned to his fate, feeling like a character from one of those novels who ended up meeting a God. "Mr. Chaos, what's going to happen to me next?" he asked.

The entity offered, "I can grant you three wishes; choose wisely." Young at heart, Jay blurted out, "I want to be born in the world of 'A Song of Ice and Fire.'" The entity granted his wish. Jay then added, "I need the power of Cadis Etrama Di Raizel."

The entity replied, "Partially granted." Jay questioned, "Partially?" The entity explained, "Yes, the power you seek is too strong for that world. You will be pseudo-immortal, like Raizel, but your life force will be your limit. You can live up to 50,000 years, but the more you use your power, the closer you'll come to death, suffering great pain."

Jay pondered his next wish. At first, he considered asking about his birthplace and timeline, but now he faced a dilemma—how to remove this disadvantage. Finally, he decided, "For my third wish, grant me the ability to restore my lost life force by taking long sleeps."

The entity obliged, saying, "Granted." But before Jay could inquire further about his birth and timeline, he felt himself being sucked away into the unknown.

As Jay awoke, he felt someone holding him close. At first, everything was blurry, but soon his vision cleared, revealing a couple with striking silver-white hair and deep purple eyes. Jay, now an infant, couldn't articulate his thoughts properly, so he just made baby noises. He wanted to say, "Am I a Targaryen?" but it came out as "Blaaaah."

The couple exchanged heated words in a language he couldn't understand, their faces filled with conflicting emotions. Jay couldn't fathom why they were arguing. Was he not what they expected? Was he somehow flawed?

Servants with similar Valyrian features, golden-silver hair, and purple eyes, tried to comfort the angry father, but they were harshly rebuffed. Jay noticed that even the servants shared these distinct features.

Suddenly, the man snatched Jay from the lady's arms and began walking away. The lady followed, crying and pleading. Jay realized, "I'm in a royal mess." When they stepped outside the castle, Jay discovered that he was in Old Valyria not in Dragonstone or King's Landing. A land of towering buildings, dragons soaring in the sky, and the scent of sulfur.

In the castle courtyard, the man summoned his dragon, and Jay couldn't help but notice how enormous it was. The father put Jay down and took a few steps back, then he said, "Dracarys." He looked back at the lady and said, "Bye bye mama."

A torrent of flames engulfed Jay, but instead of pain, he felt an oddly pleasant sensation. When the dragon ceased breathing fire and the smoke cleared, Jay was still unharmed. He wondered, "Am I alive?"

The man loosened his grip, and the lady rushed to Jay, embracing him while tears streamed down her face. However, the man seemed stunned, staring at Jay with disbelief. He mumbled, "I was wrong; he's a dragon. Why does he have black hair and red eyes? Why is he different from us?"

Jay couldn't comprehend what the man was saying, so he slowly drifted off to sleep in the comforting embrace of the lady, leaving behind a perplexing world filled with dragons, Valyrians, and unanswered questions.
