VS Stain.

[In a certain train]

'We'll pass Hosu City. I heard that Iida came here with his brother, I wonder how he's doing.' Midoriya.

Midoriya snaps out from his thoughts after an explosion shakes the whole train. The passengers begin to panic and a monstrous figure with a distorted body appears from the smoke holding a hero with his deformed hands.

Midoriya was about to spring into action but, Gran Torino was already ahead and kicked the Nomu out of the train.

"Gran Torino!!!" Midoriya.

"Everyone, please! Remain calm! Return to your seats! The villain is no longer here! More heroes will arrive soon, I'm sure!" Spoke the train conductor to try to calm the situation.

"I'll be going as well." Midoriya informed the conductor.

'One for all: Full Cowling!'

Midoriya dashed from the train and landed on the roof of a building, he then listened to many explosions from different directions and decided to take a look there first. He then receives a phone message from Iida and goes to his location.

(Meanwhile)

Gran Torino is battling a Nomu and delivers attack after attack to wear him down but, it doesn't seem to affect the Nomu in any way other than slowing him down.

'He's fast. But not faster than me.' Gran Torino.

The Nomu changes his focus and now tries to attack some civilians.

'He's attacking at random.' "Stop it, you stupid beast!" Gran Torino.

Before Gran Torino could do something, a big flame enveloped the Nomu and damaged him until he got incapacitated. Gran Torino is in awe after realizing who used such flame.

"I was looking for the elusive Hero killer, but this thing will have to do. Thanks, old timer. I'm afraid I don't know you, but I can handle this from here on out." Endeavor.

"It's you." Gran Torino.

"Is that?"

"What is he doing here?!"

"Hmph. Isn't it obvious? I came because I'm a hero." Endeavor.

'Bullshit.' Kaito thought from a distance.

'I would've made something to ensure you losing face but, I have to prevent Stain from killing more people.' Kaito thought and was about to take off until.

*BZZZ*

…his phone received a message.

Kaito received a message from Midoriya and immediately went towards its direction.

[20 Minutes Before the attack on Hosu]

"Ingenium, why are we patrolling the outer side of Hosu?" Gearshift.

"The Hero Killer has been hunting heroes all over the city, since he is way beyond your league y decided to go to areas where heroes were not that present, that way the chances we have of encountering him are less." Ingenium.

'If what brother says is true then, why can't I shake the feeling that something bad is going to happen?' Gearshift wondered.

Suddenly, the duo hears a painful yell down an alley. Ingenium tells Gearshift to wait and he went to check out the noise. Ingenium arrives at the scene and sees the Hero Killer Stain stabbing someone in his right shoulder with a chipped sword.

"Hero Killer, give up this very instance or prepare for the consequences!" Ingenium.

Stain looks at Ingenium and scoffs.

"So, another fake hero has come to stop me? You're only leaving here in one way: in a corpse bag." Stain emits his killing intent and Ingenium flinches.

'Look at this poser, not only is he showing his fear but is also focused on just fighting me instead of saving this faker. Guess I'll have to kill him.' Stani took back his sword and licked the blood.

Gearshift, who sneakily arrived on scene took a hiding place and was immobilized by fear. He was shaking and couldn't breathe properly, he remembered a similar feeling when he fought Kaito once, the feeling of being nothing but a prey.

'Brother is strong but, he won't be able to defeat him. I have to call for reinforcements. But who? I spent my time training and patrolling that I forgot to add some of the sidekicks at my brother's agency.'

Gearshift scrolls through his contacts and finds the number of Midoriya.

[Hey Iida-kun, hope you are having a good time learning with your brother, I'll be passing through Hosu in a while. If my training gets delayed, could you do me a favor and show me the surroundings, I have the feeling my teacher won't bother with that]

'I don't have anyone else to contact. Please be there Midoriya.'

[Midoriya-kun, if you are in Hosu I need your help. My brother and I have encountered the Hero Killer, please contact some hero to help us catch him, he has an injured hero so I'll try to take him away from the battle. Again, please contact some pro-hero for backup]

'Now, I have to prepare for the right time to take the hero away.' Gearshift prepared his stance to fully escape.

The battle against Stain and Ingenium started.

Ingenium began the exchange with a barrage from his left leg. Stain blocked the attack with his sword and prepared to cut Ingenium's leg off. Ingenium, foreseeing this, rapidly stomped Stain's foot and punched him in the gut.

Stain falls back a little and keeps looking at Ingenium with a sharp look. This time, Stain was the one that began the assault with his dual-wielding. He uses a long-chipped katana and a short-thick kind of dagger.

Stain began to attack Ingenium with both of his swords, each time attacking faster. Ingenium dodges some of the blows but gets damaged sometimes. Stain keeps attacking as he saw that there was no blood, Ingenium's armor protected him from getting cut but, he still receives some damage.

'This will be bothersome at best but, I just have to thrust my sword through his neck and this'll be over.' Stain.

After the constant barrage of attacks, Ingenium is tired and damaged. Stain prepares for his final attack to Ingenium's neck but gets distracted when he noticed Gearshift's presence.

Gearshift went out from his hiding and dashed toward the fallen hero and carried him.

"Brother, I'll take him to safety and have already informed someone to call for backup! Don't die brother! Don't die!" Gearshift yelled while running with the hero in his arms.

'What do you know, an altruistic hero here, he managed to organize his priorities and decided to save the faker instead of his brother. Unfortunately for him, his brother will fall to my blade.' Stain.

Ingenium snaps from the words Gearshift had told him and rushes to battle again. The battle last for a few minutes and Ingenium is laying on the floor in a small puddle of his blood.

"You weren't bad…for a faker that is, I'm still going to kill you though. Any last words?"

"…"

"Nothing eh? Very well, time to die…"

*SMASH*

Stain gets punched in the face by Midoriya. Who is also accompanied by some other pro-heroes.

Stain analyzes the situation and concludes that he'll be unable to escape without fighting. He grabs his weapons again while Midoriya takes Ingenium to a medical hero.

Stain swiftly moves and cuts the heroes as fast as they came and drank their blood. One after another, the heroes got paralyzed by Stain's quirk so Midoriya had to step in to take them somewhere safe. Midoriya was the only one that could still fight and jumped into action.

'Everyone seemed to get paralyzed the moment blood was consumed so, I can't allow myself to get a single cut from him.' Midoriya.

"Kid." Stain spoke with a murderous intent.

"I can say with full confidence that you've got what it takes to be a real hero, however, I will not flail to spare you if you get in my way." Stain emits an overwhelming bloodlust against Midoriya.

Midoriya begins to feel overwhelmed by the bloodlust and falls back a little. He then stops and takes a step forward.

'Remember, your life is not the only at stake here. If you leave, these heroes will definitely die. Even if it's not much, you must go forward.' Midoriya the remembers Kaito's figure standing in front of the Nomu at USJ.

"If you want to get to them, you've gotta get past me first!" Midoriya activated Full Cowl and rushed against Stain.

'Very well.' Stain also dashed and used his long sword to attack Midoriya.

Midoriya grabs the sword with both of his hands and tries to break it but Stain quickly catches on and interrupts his attempt by attacking him with his dagger.

Midoriya swiftly steps back and resumes the assault, he dodges the sword strikes and delivers some light punches and kicks.

'He is getting used to my attack pattern, I gotta finish this before more fakers turn up.' Stain.

Stain then takes the long range by throwing some knives at Midoriya. Midoriya steps back and dodges the knives but, Stain predicted his move and is already waiting for him.

Midoriya uses Overdrive for a brief second and manages to evade the attack.

'I'll get nowhere if I keep fighting him head on. Now, what did Kaito said about fighting this type of enemies?'

(Flashback)

"Listen up Midoriya, some enemies are not one-trick ponies that only rely on their quirk, some of them are quite adept at different styles of combat, the first rule to battle people like this is to never drop your guard, that'll be your first and last mistake during the fight."

"The second rule is to keep as many cards hidden as possible, these enemies will adapt after seeing your aces, so you need to keep as many of them hidden as possible to prevent a counter from them."

"Finally, the third rule is to end the battle quickly, there's a high chance of them being used to such battles and therefore are more prepared to prolong it as much as possible. So, what you need to do is to attack aggressively from the beginning and never give them space to breathe." Kaito.

"Uhm…Kaito-san, that sounds extremely difficult, even impossible." Midoriya.

"Well, then I'll put in your tombstone, 'Here lies a green wuss.'"

"Please don't joke with that."

"Who's joking?"

'Time to end this as fast as possible. One for All: Full Cowling: Overdrive!'

Midoriya's body begins to shine in a green-teal like glow and dashes towards Stain. He delivers a powerful blow to his gut and sends him flying towards the end of the alley into the street.

Stain gets back up and embraces himself for the second punch, this time Midoriya punched his face but Stain blocked it with his inhuman senses and countered by making a small cut to Midoriya's face.

Midoriya pushed Stain back and directly ran towards him to break his blade. Stain tried to lick the blood off the blade but Midoriya broke the part of the blade with his blood and pierced Stain's shoulder with it.

Stain grunts and Midoriya goes for the finishing blow but, the minute ended and due to Overdrive, Midoriya lost OFA and fell down. Midoriya tried to stand up but Stain was already preparing his next move to immobilize him.

Stain stabs Midoriya in the shoulder and kicks him, Midoriya falls back and tries to stand up again but Stain already drank his blood. Midoriya gets paralyzed in the spot and is unable to move. Stain closes in Midoriya and talks to him.

"Why bother with a fight you can't win kid?" Stain.

Midoriya was baffled by the question and remained quiet.

"There's no way a brat like you could've defeat me, I even gave you a chance to leave, so why? Why didn't you run?" Stain.

"It's true that I cannot defeat you but, my goal here was not defeating you. My goal was…to buy time for him to come." Midoriya.

After saying those words, a wind blast came from and alley directed to Stain. Stain dodges and is amazed by the power of the attack.

"Geez Deku, if you are going to ask for help, then at the very least write more specific coordinates." Kaito spoke while coming out from the alley and flashing his phone with a message.
