as the maid through the rock in the air in the air byakuya got into a battle stance while sora just stood there relaxed letting the point of his wooden katana rest on the ground when the rock hit the ground byakuya charged and sora really thought he should be wielding a long sword when he swung sora decided to teach him the first lesson by perfectly timing the block and Breaking his katana in half while leaving sora's katana perfectly intact and then sora decided sora win the duel as well so a second later my katana was at his throat
"checkmate" sora said
"I lost" byakuya said shocked
"if you want to keep that fighting style you should the change your weapon to a long-sword if you want to keep the katana you need a new technique really badly" sora said
"can you teach me" byakuya asked
"very well I will teach you but in return you must promise to not train at every waking moment and enjoy yourself a little alright" sora asked
"deal" byakuya said excitedly
"very well your training will start tomorrow at 10 in the morning" sora said and he walked off

sora changed a lot since joining the kuchiki family including his outfit he now wore a jet black suit and jet black beechfield fedora as he found it comfortable and it really did suit him no pun intended he taught byakuya often for awhile eventually just watching while he practiced he became quite good with the katana and he started seeing a girl sora of course kept it confidential as he shared many thing's with me he wanted to keep his trust as he thought of byakuya was like a little brother
"you have become quite good in a few billion years you may actually be able to defeat me" sora said teasing byakuya
"and who may you be" a female said behind
"its the were-cat get her" byakuya said as sora turned
"sora kusaragi is my name captain" sora said politely
"you are the one who's been teaching byakuya by the way just call me Yoruichi" she asked
"yeah that's me" sora said
"well done i brought a couple of subordinates a couple of days ago and he stomped them into the ground in fact how about we spar" she said
"why not a bit of practice doesn't help anyone but let me warn you I am fairly strong and I won't be going easy on you simply because your a girl" sora said
"good that means you'ok make things interesting" she said sora borrowed byakuya's wooden katana and did what sora did when he first stomped byakuya he stood there calmly with the point resting on the ground she stared at him as if sora was stupid which was exactly what sora wanted as he knew she probably let her guard down that doesn't mean sora did, byakuya through a rock in the air when it hit the ground she was behind sora unfortunately for her sora could watch her every movement and it was at a normal speed as opposed to really slow however that was a good thing as it meant she was skilled but not skilled enough so I reversed my katana and stabbed behind me getting her in the chest hard she glared at me surprised and I knew her guard was up now as now she wouldn't underestimate me unfortunately for her sora already won as sora turned at exactly the right time for her to move directly into his blade with his blade now at her neck
"checkmate" sora said
"indeed your skilled what do I have to do to get you to join the second division" she asked
"nothing I was already planning to join the second division although I'm glad I got their captain's attention" sora said as usual stupidly polite
"well I'm stupidly lucky to have someone of your ability and backing that you have" she said
"I will head for the entrance exam tomorrow but be warned I am fairly certain the sixth division will also want me for obvious reasons" sora said she nodded and I bid her good day before entering my room and laying down I had a busy life ahead of me
