As the 'first rays' of sun filtered through the window, casting a soft glow across the room, I stirred from my slumber, the remnants of sleep still clinging to my senses. But before I could fully awaken, the tranquility of the 'morning' was shattered by the sudden intrusion of voices and bustling activity.
Confusion clouded my mind as at least a dozen servants burst into my room, their presence overwhelming in the quiet stillness of the morning. Blinking away the remnants of sleep, I sat up groggily, my gaze darting around the room in bewilderment.
"It's already 15 o'clock and we clearly have to get moving or the queen will be angry," said a voice.
"What's going on?" I mumbled, my voice thick with sleep as I attempted to make sense of the chaotic scene unfolding before me.
