The air in the Stone's living room froze for a full ten seconds.
Finally, it was Clark who tried to grab the projector from Abigail's hands, "What are you doing!"
The voice cracked with rage, showcasing the extent of his anger.
"Didn't you say it was just a misunderstanding?" Abigail looked at Clark with a victim's expression, quite unlike her earlier show of confidence, almost resembling a prospective bride.
However, in Abigail's bright eyes, Clark saw a hint of defiance. He clenched his fist, ready to strike.
"Back off." Mr. Stone, having recovered from his son's illicit video, coldly rebuked Clark before hurriedly apologizing to Lincoln Green, "My future in-law, it's just that Clark is immature. But I can assure you and Abigail that from today on, Clark will have no further involvement with that woman."
Lincoln Green's face also turned sour, not because of Clark's lies and the betrayal of his daughter, but because he was vexed that Abigail had disgraced him again.
