"Oh, and I am not Hades," The Slayer turned to the Queen who was some distance from him, who looked back at The Slayer's position and where he was before, but what was stunning to the small group watching was the black arm that The Slayer held.

"…" The dark satyr was at a loss for words as it looked back at its body and the blood started gushing from the dismembered body part.

"An arm for an arm they say, or was it an eye for an eye," The Slayer said as the arm he held burnt with bright orange flames to nothingness.

Diana couldn't keep up with surprises tonight as The Slayer displayed strength she hadn't heard of in legends.

"I have never heard of a god or demigod clad in black and donning ten rings on his fingers. Just who are you?" the Queen asked with a serious expression.

"All things will be answered," The Slayer claimed.

"It doesn't matter who you are! You have given me a greater boost in power!" the dark satyr said as great darkness filled the island and the skies for five seconds and revealed a dark creature hovering with a single black wing, no horns, no hooves but feet like a human, purple eyes, male genitals and a dark gold crown on its head. Its facial features looked charming and had small sharp teeth only at the edges.

"WITH THIS POWER I CAN CHALLENGE THE RULERSHIP OF HELL AND BEYOND! HAHAHA! MY NAME WILL BE ASTEROTH! FEAR ME!" Asteroth bellowed as the sky turned red. Once again all battles stopped on the island as both sides of the battle unanimously agreed to watch the results of their leaders which was too captivating to ignore.

"Wait. Why didn't I regrow my arm?" Asteroth asked as he saw that he still had only one arm.

"Answer me, worm," Asteroth looked down on The Slayer as his wing moved and he was beside The Slayer in an instant.

'I couldn't even follow him,' Diana's eyes widened as she moved her head quickly to see Asteroth.

The Slayer stretched his hand and Asteroth found its neck in The Slayer's warm embrace.

Asteroth choked for a while as he fought for his release to no avail.

"My hands can negate divinity much less immortality. You will be child's play where I come from. Barely enough for entertainment," The Slayer said as the Queen could now confirm her suspicion of The Slayer's otherworldliness.

"I… Impossible!" Asteroth cried out, but his neck snapped and his body was incinerated by bright orange flames immediately.

Silence reigned on the island for thirty seconds as the sky returned to its previous glory of showcasing the stars.

Diana looked flabbergasted, bewildered, confused, and in awe of The Slayer as the remaining demons took that opportunity to return to the portals that began to close. They didn't want to be on the same island with a being that healed some of them from the brink of death earlier and one that reduced their number greatly without any of them noticing on time.

The Slayer appeared before one of the demons that were retreating, and the demon stopped as it waited for its death.

"What's going on down there?" The Slayer asked.

After a short exchange between the demon and The Slayer, the demon was set free to retreat, much to the anger of the Queen of the Amazons.

"Why did you let that one escape?" the Queen asked, and The Slayer only sighed as he flicked his finger at the demon from afar, causing it to fall dead from its flight.

The Amazons resumed cutting down the remaining demons even after the portals closed, which lasted a total of ten minutes since the demons were now outnumbered by the remaining Amazons.

"Finally, I can use time magic," The Slayer said as he clasped his hands together, and the island itself reverted back to its former glory.

The Queen looked all around her and The Slayer in awe and nodded at him but ran towards her people.

Diana looked at the sky and frowned.

"Of all times for me not to be wearing my armour," Diana said out loud as The Slayer appeared next to her.

Lightning cracked in the sky and struck the ground as two Olympian goddesses took form from the lightning.

...

Long before the sky turned red in London on the night of the demon invasion of Themyscira.

A dirty blonde-haired man with clean stubble wearing a white shirt and tie, a tan coat made in a style common to the people of the land, and black trousers and shoes was dozing on a table in a restaurant.

The weather was overcast as usual in the city of London, fog in the sky, everyone moving around like they have somewhere important to go with different colours of coats on, nothing unusual.

The man suddenly raised his head in alarm as drool could be traced from his lips to the table in a long connecting wet string. The man gasped for air as he fondled through his chest pocket for a pack of cigarettes.

He wiped himself clean with his coat sleeve and lit a cigarette. He looked at the window near him; the environment looked filtered through a grey camera filter.

"What the hell is happening?" the man asked himself as he got up to leave.

"Trying to be smart with me again, John?" The owner of the business noticed the man hadn't paid for his meal.

"Bloody hell, Mike, just put it on the tab! You'll be lucky if you see tomorrow, ya tight-arsed bloke!" John shot back as he walked out of the restaurant and into the alleys.

As he walked into the alleys, something moved in the shadows, and John simply inhaled the smoke from his cigarette and exhaled a grey cloud of smoke.

"You must be new around these parts if you are approaching me head-on alone, ya wanker!" John said nothing in front of him as a winged gargoyle appeared and raised its hands in surrender.

"I have a message, you brute!" the demon said and put its hands down.
