Reborn as a SCP

Leo was a surgeon in the foundation who had dedicated his entire life to the foundation, entering their ranks as a surgeon's assistant the moment he was qualified. He had seen everything from agents with minor injuries up to agents who had sustained major trauma to their bodies and had lost body parts, even operatives who were affected by SCP's. However, through thick and thin Leo stayed loyal to the foundation. Eventually, Leo qualified for a level three clearance level, all he had to do was complete a minor operation on an executive agent of the foundation. However, the agent mysteriously died and Leo was found responsible for the death after a trial. Leo lamented everyone as his hate for the foundation grew. "I dedicated my entire fucking life to your cause, I have saved hundreds of your operatives and this is the fucking reward I get!?!" After Leo found out he was scheduled to be tested on an SCP that could cause a horrendous death he rebelled, resulting in him dying. When Leo died, there was only one thought in his head. "Why am I the one who must always suffer? All of this happened due to the corruption of others, I've just been a puppet in the grand scheme of everything, the foundation is a predator, and I was the prey all along. The entire foundation, no, the entire world is corrupt. It should all be purged in order for a new beginning." Suddenly, Leo heard a mysterious and dark voice calling out to him. "Do you truly wish to purge the world? To create a new one?" Leo thought he was going insane for a second but still responded. "Yes, that is truly what I want. But before that, I want to trample those who wronged me in this world!"

Excellent position

After Leo robbed the house, it was time for him to officially depart.

There wasn't a lot else to do.

He had already taken Zacheria's car keys and walked toward his car.

It was a Bentley, quite luxurious.

Leo opened the car door and stepped in the car.

"Let's hope I haven't forgotten how to drive by now." said Leo as he started the car.

Back when he was in the foundation he drove quite a lot from facility to facility, driving was an everyday occurrence back then.

However, lately he had been getting the VIP treatment and never really had to drive, others drove for him.

Leo roughly knew where to drive to from Valentina's instructions.

Technically he didn't really have to drive, if he walked for a while he would also arrive at the location of his target, but he wanted to know if he could still drive well, it would probably be needed later on.

Leo put the key in the ignition and twisted it, turning on the car.

He shifted the car into the right gear and hit the gas, slowly driving off.

There was another reason Leo didn't mind taking this job, and that reason would be bonus money.

His target was the head of a pretty big hedgefund, it would be more than likely he had a vast amount of crypto and other forms of currency stashed away, if Leo could recover that he would probably make a massive amount of profit, even more than Valentina offered him as a commission.

However, it still was quite a difficult mission.

For now, Leo decided not to think about it and instead kept driving.

After driving for a good seven minutes, he arrived at his target's location.

Leo stopped the car nearby and took a deep breath before observing the house.

"Yep, this is Mayor Arkenson lane 42A alright." said Leo as he eyed the mansion.

he took a look at the watch he stole and saw it was already 11:50 AM.

"Clocking in ten minutes early wouldn't be much of a problem." said Leo as he got out of the car.

He made sure to bring his MPX with him and a extra magazine.

He probably wouldn't need it since this job would mostly be done quietly, but it was still nice to have with him.

Infront of the mansion was some sort of checkpoint and Leo assumed he had to check in there.

Leo approached the booth and there indeed was someone inside.

He didn't ask for Leo's name or anything and just let him in.

Leo didn't start a conversation either and also just simply walked toward the front door of the mansion.

He opened it and indeed as Valentina said, the mansion was pretty comparable to hers.

Quite big, but not too big.

There were a couple of guards inside patrolling around, about eight. The other remaining guards were mostly stationed outside.

A guard approached Leo and spoke to him.

"Ah, Zach, you're here. Great, now I can check out. You need to take the position at the hallway next to the surveillance room, once your shift is over Irin will come and check in, and then you can check out."

Leo nodded like he understood, but he didn't have the slightest idea where to go.

"Have a good shift buddy." said the guard as he patted Leo on the shoulder before handing him a pager and leaving the mansion.

Leo was happy about one thing though.

And that would be that he was positioned close to the surveillance room, if he wanted to do anything meaningful here he would first have to take down the guard in the surveillance room.

If the cops were called it would be a massive pain for Leo, he would probably be able to get away by shapeshifting but the foundation would be right back on his ass, meaning he would have to go into hiding for a extended period of time.

Leo looked around the mansion for a while, it was not like anyone would stop him after all.

After walking around the mansion for a bit he finally found the surveillance room and got into position.

"Honestly, what an ideal position this is."

Hey, I'm back.

For those who aren't in the discord and don't know what has been going on I will simplify it a bit.

I recently lost a really close relative and my motivation to write just plummeted. I've just been mourning a lot.

I will try to get back to updating a bit, but it may be really irregular.

Sorry.
