When Chloe saw Verlin's ability was flight, she was astonished and said, " Your ability is to fly? that's so cool. Doesn't that mean you can fly above the clouds and look at the stars?"

"Well, yeah, but it has many other uses besides that. "

As Verlin was talking, he used his microscopic vision on Chloe and saw that her body density was about 4 times that of a regular human, a little less than Rachel. Maybe it had something to do with age or other factors. More research would be necessary. Verlin decided to record Chloe's dna information in his head. Thankfully, with his improved brain, anything he wanted to remember would never be forgotten. Even things he wanted to forget would stay in his head.

Verlin continued. He reached out to shake Chloe's hand and said, " It was nice meeting you, We can keep in touch in the future. Just make sure you don't send messages or calls about enhanced humans. Just ordinary messages"

"Why not?"

Verlin stared at Chloe and said, "There are people always watching."

Verlin was sure that General Smith could get information from his phone, although he only knew Chloe for a short time, he didn't want to get her involved with the military. He was sure the army knew about Enhanced humans because of Rachel, but Rachel is General Smith's daughter. He didn't know if Chloe would get such special treatment or if they would try to experiment on her. Then again, if they tried to experiment on her, he wouldn't just let it happen.

After a couple of seconds of silence, Chloe said, "Uhm, Alright, but can't you hang out for a little while? I mean, we can get to know each other a bit more."

" Can't we do that tomorrow?"

Although Verlin didn't have anything planned, he wanted to go look at the differences in DNA between Rachel and Chloe. He also wanted to find out what ability Rachel had.

Chloe shook her head and said, "Yeah, but today is the last day of the weekend, and there's school tomorrow."

Verlin looked at the sad expression on Chloe's face and said, "Fine, but only for a couple of hours, though."

Chloe jumped in joy and grabbed his hand, and ran back towards the park. seeing her so happy, Verlin followed and said, "Where are we going?"

"We are going to do things I've always wanted to."

20 minutes later.

Verlin and Chloe were sitting in a movie theater, watching a horror movie. Verlin was speechless. He looked at Chloe and said, "This is what you've always wanted to do? Watch a horror movie?"

Chloe didn't look at Verlin and all her attention was on the movie, She nodded her head and said, " The first time I watched a horror movie, I nearly broke my mother's arm, and the second I came here I ended up damaging private property."

Verlin looked at his arm that was firmly held by Chloe and thought to himself, ' So, I'm here as a tool for her to cope with fear'. Verlin looked at Chloe, who was flashing from her normal state to being invisible, constantly depending on her emotion. It was a good thing they were sitting at the back cause if not, people would be freaked out.

The movie itself wasn't that scary. It was just a dude with a mask chasing down and killing some young adults who went to the woods for camping. He reckons if Chloe was in that situation, she would just outrun the masked killer or would just simply knock him out or outright kill him in a single punch.

The movie was about 2 hours long, and when the movie was over, Chloe left with a big smile on her face, She still held on to Verlin's hand as they went to a restaurant to a nearby restaurant to eat some food. When they got into the restaurant, the first thing that Verlin noticed was Rachel sitting in a corner eating by herself.

Verlin took Chloe to sit on the opposite end to where Rachel was eating. He was avoiding her, so Chloe didn't make contact with her. After Verlin and Chloe sat down, a waiter came up to them and handed over a menu, but it seemed Chloe already knew what she wanted and listed 5 different meals. Verlin decided to just get a drink, mainly because he didn't need to eat, and buying food would be a waste of money, and secondly, he didn't have any money in the first place.

After the waiter left, Verlin looked at Chloe and said, " You ordered quite a bit of food, you must be really hungry."

Chloe shook her head and said, "Hungry? Actually, I'm not, My body just needs a lot of energy to grow. If anything, I'm surprised you didn't order anything."

When Verlin heard this, it all started making sense. Even his body takes up a lot of energy. If he relied on food as his energy source, he would probably have to consume 10 cows each hour just to sustain himself. Verlin quickly said, " I ate a lot this morning. That's why I'm not hungry."

Chloe just shrugged, and soon after, the food arrived. Chloe started eating her food, and after she finished a meal, she would silently push her empty plate to his side of the table, so it looked like he ate the food. Verlin saw this and didn't say anything. It wasn't like he was paying. When Chloe was in her last meal, Verlin heard a familiar set of footsteps. He didn't have to look up to know who it was. Rachel came up to their table with a smile and said, " So this is the important matter you had to attend to."

Verlin looked at Rachel and said, " It's none of your business."

Chloe swallowed the last of her meal and asked Verlin, " Who is this?"

Before Verlin could say anything, Rachel said, "I'm his older sister Rachel. We met before at the grocery store, I was the one who took the pictures, remember?"

"Oh, I remember."

Chloe stood up and shook Rachel's hand and said, " It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Chloe."

Verlin decided to stop them from getting along and said to Chloe, " I think we should leave. "

Chloe looked confused but still agreed, She said goodbye to Rachel and followed Verlin up to the counter to pay. After she paid for the meal, Verlin and her left the restaurant and started walking towards the park. Seeing that Verlin wasn't in a good mood, Chloe said, "I'm guessing you don't get along with your sister."

Verlin looked at Chloe and shook his head, He wasn't angry. He just didn't want Chloe to get involved with the military. he said, " Does anyone else know that you are an Enhanced human?"

Chloe contemplated for a second and said,

" Excluding you, only my parents and my aunt know about my abilities."

"That's good. It's best if you keep it that way, the less people know, the better."

Chloe nodded her head and grabbed his hand and said, " There is one last thing I wanted to try with another enhanced human."

They both walked back to the woods in the park, but this time, they went deeper into it. They arrived at a little clearance in the forest, almost like a small arena. She looked at Verlin and said, "Let's fight."

Before Verlin could agree, she rushed towards him, grabbed the collar of his shirt, and threw him towards a tree. Verlin caught himself mid-air and flew back towards the ground. When Chloe saw Verlin was unhurt, She smiled even more and continued to attack him. As the sparred Verlin could tell that Chloe didn't know how to fight at all. It seemed she had only wanted to spar because she had never fought or done anything that allowed to use 100% of her physical strength. Although her density was 4 times that of a human, her strength equated much more than that. If Verlin were to give an estimation, she would be more than 15 times the strength of a human. If she lost her temper and shoved someone, that would be enough force to break someone's rib and send them flying across a room. Even if she got into a fight, it would be like an adult fighting with a 5 year old child.

After 15 minutes of sparring, Chloe was on the ground, taking heavy breaths, Verlin didn't bother trying to pretend like he was tired and just sat on the ground beside her. Even though Chloe lost, she still had a smile on her face. She said, " I haven't had so much fun in years."

After a couple of seconds of catching her breathe she continued and said, " You know, I used to come to this same spot with my aunt when I was a child. We used to spar like this all the time."

Verlin raised his eyebrow and said, "Was she an Enhanced human as well?"

Chloe nodded her head and said, " Yeah, she was the one to first notice my ability, and she was the one that helped me control my ability, and taught me some skills to defend myself without hurting others, but she had to leave and we haven't heard from her ever since" After a slight pause she continued, "Verlin, you won't be leaving soon, right?"

Verlin looked at Chloe and was hesitant for a second. He didn't know if he would stay on this planet for long, let alone stay in City A, but he still said, "Dont worry, I just arrived. How could I leave so soon."
