"Isn't that supposed to be a good thing?" Irene asked innocently.
"Also, I don't know whether she has a problem or whatever but I noticed that she was extremely worried when you were unconscious. She was even ready to do anything to see to it that you got better," Irene added in a soft tone.
Irene deliberately refused to mention the part where Stephanie tried to get human blood to save her.
"To others, this might seem like a good thing but I know that child very well... she is a resolute lady, one who wouldn't suddenly act out of character for no reason," Jennifer said in Ina troubled tone.
"Recall what I told you about the earlier battle...," Jennifer paused. She pushed the bedsheets aside and shifted to the edge of the bed.
