World Explained!

Below you will find key facts and information for the story going forwards.

Astoria: The setting of the story, the world is split into 12 different continents each with their own races, kingdoms, wars and cultures battling it out for supremcey or survival. The stroy will start on the continent of Demon's Eye.

Demon's Eye: A continent with two large pools of Lava in the centre of it, due to this it was named Demon's eye. The continent is in a state od uneasy peace as the Human-Elven conflict of the other continents has not spread here. The Kingdoms on the continent are preparing for a war of survival due to a local legend that is said to come true soon....

Battle spirit: A warrior's alternative to magic, they can train in many different forms of battle spirit or specialise in one just like magic. Like magic it requires a good base in order for a person to excell with the it.

Combat:The world will mostly have medieval forms of combat such as a high importance for cavalry and heavy troops. This will need to be balanced with true warriors and mages to create the perfect army. A skilled warrior is the equal of any mage however a skilled mage is not the equal of a skilled warrior.

Fledgling races: The races that were still in a primitive state when the Dragons last ruled the world, they have since modernised and taken the place of their former overlords.

Magic= In the world of Astoria Magic is pretty common however high levels of mastery of magic is extremely rare. This is due to most people not being able to maximise their potentials, most fail in setting up the correct foundations which leads them down a path of stunted growth,

Elves: A race that specialise in Magic and archery, they have an innate connection with nature that leads many of them to tame some of the stronger beasts found in the world as war beasts. There are three main Elven empires that are in an alliance with one another to keep the horde of humans at the borders.

Humans: During the period where the story will start the Humans are currently locked in a crusade against the Elven empires who have been killing any Humans in their lands that do not conform to the Elven religion. The humans have generated the best warriors seen for generations and have developed new battle spirit forms to enhance them against the Elves. Typically the Humans are good at everything but do not excel in any given role until now....

Dragon-Humans: An ancient covenant between the Dragon and Humans races lead to an introduction of a new race, the Dragon Humans. They were left to rule in the place of the Dragons who vanished shortly after the species first appeared. The species was mostly wiped out due an error by their previous emperor nearly 3000 years ago. There are a few splinter groups who survived the day of reckoning and they wait for a new king to raise....
