Chapter 36

When Athena was told that she and her brother and sister, Artemis and Apollo were going to sign a peace treaty with Lucifer as well as stay with him to keep an eye on him, she thought it was a ridiculous idea.

The Elder Gods shouldn't be expecting their number one enemy to sign a treaty with them, especially after what happened the last time with her father.

She remembered that day as clear as day. Zeus decided to throw a huge feast, one of the biggest feasts ever thrown, to celebrate the peace treaty he had managed to sign with Lucifer.

She was happy that the treaty was going to be signed. Lucifer has proven himself to be a dangerous enemy to the gods with the war he has waged against the gods and the number he has won.

During the feast, a goblet of wine was placed beside Lucifer, and when he drank it, it was discovered that the wine was poisoned with water from an enchanted river that led to the heavenly realm. It was filled with light.

It may not have been her father who put the water in Lucifer's goblet, but his newly founded sense of irresponsibility was the cause of this. He should have known that not all the gods were happy with the decision of the peace treaty. He should have thrown the feast after straightening out the gods under his control.

It wasn't surprising when it wasn't long before Lucifer waged another war. But it wasn't only the gods involved in this. The humans were also dragged into this situation as well.

She wasn't surprised that after Lucifer read the peace treaty he was enraged. It was more of a threat than a wish for peace. The Elder Gods took advantage of Lucifer's weakness and used it against him.

She knows what Lucifer would do if their side of the promise was broken. After all, despite Lucifer being a demon, he was also a god, and his godly name was Vidar, God of Revenge.

Their disguises were three teenage children transferring to Cliff Ford High, they were friends of Phoenix and are siblings. They are also keeping their godly names, Athena being the oldest and the twins Apollo and Artemis are her younger siblings from another woman her father had married.

They come to the house from a car. They looked outside. "This place is huge for a human," Apollo said in a different language so the driver didn't understand them.

"Augustus is the second son of this place's empire," Artemis said to her brother. "It is only natural that he lives in a place worthy of his name, I'm only surprised it wasn't bigger," she said.

Servants were waiting for them in the garage with Lucifer.

He was wearing a pair of grey joggers and a black T-shirt.

"Welcome to my abode," Lucifer said. His disguise was up again. His hair was black with white streaks on one part of his head. His eyes were green with red streaks, the same way he looked in the beginning.

"Lu-- Phoenix," Athena said greeting him, then going in to hug him like they were old friends.

"Athena! I missed you the most," he said hugging her tightly. It truly was like they were old friends.

"Artemis," he said, going in to hug her as well.

It was very awkward for Artemis. She's hugging a former enemy. The Goddess of Hunt and Moon didn't know how to react, she just hugged him back.

When it came time for Apollo, Lucifer just stretched out his hand for a handshake. Apollo understood why he was not getting a hug.

They are harmful to each other it was going to be like hugging a hot kettle and getting burned badly.

"Nice to see you again Apollo," he said. His hand was burning, but it wasn't showing thanks to the disguise.

"Nice to see you again Phoenix," Apollo said.

"Come on in," Lucifer said. "They will take your things to your rooms, and we'll be going around the house for a tour."

They started from the living room to the dining room, then the garden which Lucifer had never been to, and then finally their rooms. "Dinner would be done in thirty minutes," he said. "Don't be late."

With that Lucifer left them alone and went to the study room and then ordered his four holopads.

It said it would arrive in ten minutes at his location. "Technology is good," Lucifer said, creating four clones. "The holopads will soon arrive," he said. "We are going to be using the same strategy as the last time. But you will continue to work during dinner."

In fifteen minutes, a knock came, when Lucifer opened the door, he saw an orange-haired servant with hazel eyes holding a box. "Thank you," he said collecting the box.

Ten minutes left and Lucifer hands the box to one of his clones. "Start, if anyone comes in disappear," he said.

He goes to the dining room and sees the A-siblings already sitting there. "Oh you guys got dressed fast," he said, being friendly, and then sat down beside the Goddess of Wisdom. Soon dinner came in and it smelled delicious.

Rosetta was the one who brought in the dinner. The three gods' eyes widened in shock. When Rosetta came in the person they saw was a white-haired woman with kind, red eyes, wearing a white flowing dress, the sleeves hanging lightly from the sides.

Rosetta smiled at them kindly. " Young Master Phoenix why didn't you tell me you had friends coming?" she said, ruffling Lucifer's hair after she was done serving the dishes.

She looks at the three gods with kindness. "Young Master Phoenix must have missed you guys a lot since he cried when he first got here," she said.

"Rosetta!" Lucifer said, his face was a bit red from embarrassment.

Rosetta laughs before leaving them alone to enjoy their meal.

"Alianna," Athena whispered.

Lucifer's grinning face became cold. "She's one of my people, let Hera get that into her head," he said, lifelessly.
