End of selection

Today was the final day of selection. People were excited in the arena as they heard after the result there will a feast for everyone.

From 50 now had remained only 30 each were nervous, excited as finally today would be the day they would be picked either by medicine valley or the association.

After taking their places behind there tables waiting for the content of exam to be revealed, first elder gave a speech..

"Today is the final day of selection, as we all know only the top ten will be taken in by medicine valley and the other ten by association but for the remaining students who studied hard, as a result we came upon the decision to reward them as to encourage them to keep on working till the next years exam. The rewards for those students would be 30 percent discount on every material they buy related to medicine, and free health care for their families including themselves by the asscociation.

Today's content for the exam is diagonising 20 patients with 20 different disease, and prescribing medicine accordingly with the method of decoration and proportions of each herbs. The results of today and past will be tallied and announced. May the best candidate win"...

Soon the exam had started, emperor at the side informed Yusheng of the banquet that will be held tonight as she will be leaving the capital tomorrow.

The most frustrating thing was she wrote many letters to Song Hui to gouze his feelings but none were replied. Her shu sister would also come to mock her time to time.

She was not pampered like before to beyond limits by her father, mother or brothers anymore. She felt she has just become a tool for them to sharpen and used at proper time, because of this her hatred for Yusheng had reached to peak while her possessiveness towards song hui had reached to madness.

Still consort mu, third prince , minister Zhou and all the people under their camp were very happy as though not on their side, Yusheng also wasn't on qinwangs side. As there was no mentioning of Yusheng healing or even making an effort to heal qinwang. At unknown time rumor had circulated about how qinwang offended Yusheng resulting him to be banished to come to palace or come to the selection and to be under house arrest to reflect on his behavior.

Though consort mu also hated Yusheng to core after her plight but felt little happy upon hearing how qinwang was punished by the emperor and may lead him to loose favor from the emperor in coming future.

The exam was finished results were announced, the selected disciples of medicine valley got their token of valley, the other 10 disciples also got token of association showing their identity, the remaining 10 also got token pass so they would get their rewards.

A feast was prepared for everyone that were present in the arena. Selected students also paraded themselves with pride. It was a very happy moment.

Soon all the nobles titled 1st rank and royals along with the emperor and Yusheng excused themselves ahead as there was another banquet that they need to be prepared for.

While the teachers of valley had the newly selected ones in a line explaining them to get prepared as they would be leaving tomorrow, similarly students selected for association were praised by the president himself and informed to enter the academy within the week.

The nobles and royals were all pumped up for the banquet as it would be their last chance to make any sort of connection with Yusheng as she would be leaving tomorrow not knowing when she would come back.

There were three others who had the same feelings... third prince,, Song hui and Qinwang Sheng. Each with their own thoughts but for the same person.

Hence while the crowd was enjoying the feast, others were getting ready for the banquet while the ones who couldn't attend the banquet were feeling sour and sore all over.
