First meeting

Rudeus and the other were walking in the forest while talking to each other. Until Rosa spotted a lizard. "hey isn't that a sand crawler." Rosa started to point to a lizard that was still half in the ground.

"yeah that's a sand crawler" Elizabeth confirmed.

"let's kill it" Rudeus said. Liza started to chant a fire arrow, when suddenly the air around them felt like it was made out of water. They all felt sufficated.

Then they all saw a system message.

[-75% in all stats]

'what the f*ck' was the last thing they could think, before all the girls past out and wet themselves.

Rudeus was still half awake and looked at the lizard, which now had turned into the scariest thing he had seen in his entire life. Then he also succombed to the feeling and passed out.

The teachers and vice-principal were watching all the eye loops on a big magic screen.

"so who do you think will gain the most points?" Frank asked to no one in general.

Samantha answered. "I think Rudeuses group will gain the most points, they are a good -"

She didn't finish her sentence because everyone in the room felt a thick vile killing intent. They all simoustanly got a system message.

[-4% in all stats]

[0.5 % in all stats] (vice-principal)

They then all focused on the screen which Rudeuses group was displayed on.

And they saw a red outline of a ground drake.

(btw a ground drake is like a dragon but it doesn't have any wings. And their neck is also shorter in comparison to the classic dragon.)

"What is a ground drake doing here!?" Samantha exclaimed.

The vice principal immediately called the teachers on standby :"All out-gate teachers move to Rudeuses group, an unconfirmed creature has appeared there, it has the killing intent of a ground drake so be careful."

All the teachers who stood outside felt shocked. They all had the same thought' how did a ground drake come here? '.

They all started to move to the eye loop which was sending out a red pulsating circle.

One of the teachers who was close by arrived in 1 minute, he saw that all 6 students were passed out.

"the students are okay there just passed out and they show no sings of injury." Dared called trough. All the teachers felt relieved. But there was still one question we're was the ground drake.

"where is the ground drake." the vice-principal asked.

" I don't see any sign of a ground drake being hear or passing by. I only feel the precense of some small animals and I see a sand crawler but that's it."

"okay no problem, bring the kids back preacher Aron will awaken them with his blessing"

"maybe we will get some info from them". The vice-principal said

Two new teachers quickly arrived at the scene and they brought the 6 kids back to the academy.

All the other kids were also called back because of this incident.

Rudeuses party were woken up half an hour later by Aron.

"they will need to mentally rest for one more hour, if I didnt wake them up they would probably still be passed out till next week (5 days give or take).

The vice-principal spoke :" okay tell me when one of them mentally recovers "

Smith's anger triggered his new ability. He saw that the group of 6 people got a debuff of -75% to all their stats.

Smith started to grin.

He felt good. 'I should kill them' he thought.'I'll gain a lot of exp' Smith didn't see them as humans he saw them as exp points. But he abruptly stopped his thoughts as he felt a strong presence heading towards his direction, his new animal instincts were screaming at him.

Smith quickly formed a conclusion.' These kids are probably from some school' as he noticed there uniforms. And the one coming my way is probably a teacher. If I run know I would be seen as suspicious even if I'm litterly no treath to them. This world also seems to have a different strength category these kids felt dangerous to me, so they have to be strong. '

'I'll now just act as some stupid lizard. Let's head back in my "home" '

After not even 20 seconds passed Smith felt a wave of some sort washing over him. He acted as if he had felt nothing, but he was still kinda scared and thrilled at the same time.

After 1 minute or so he felt another 2 presences heading his way there were as strong as the other one who had arrived first.

After some time they left and now no one was here anymore. Accept for him and -

-feel the precenses of most things in a 10 meter raduis.

'hmm I felt there precenses from way farther than the new skill I gained.'

'whatever I need to change locations, they will probably investigate this location.'

Smith started to sprint out of his home. Smith had never run fast with his new body because he was just sitting in a underground space for the most of his new life.

Smith quickly noticed that he was moving at a speed no normal human could reach when they were running.

'system how fast am I running?'

'damn that's fast' Smith got excited again. And a new feeling arose inside of him a new flame. And this flame wanted to become stronger. It wanted to become the strongest.

Smith felt the new passion blossem in himself. 'I want to be at the top of the food chain again, I want to be stronger.'

Smith would keep on running until he almost couldn't.

But he still wanted to be safe so he made a new home to rest the night.
