Alex confirmed his choice of going to Violet City. The trip cost 5 silver. After he paid the fee, he disappeared from the village chief's house. He appeared inside a crowded hall of players and NPCs. The hall was filled with tables, couches, chairs, etc. It was mostly like a waiting room or a lounge. The only out-of-place item would be the teleportation array under Alex's feet. He ignored everybody and began to walk outside with an indifferent face. Alex was already used to this scene, so he walked out of the hall and went toward the adventure guild. He wanted to register as fast as possible and buy a storage pouch.

The adventure guild was located right next to the hall Alex came out of. The adventure guild was a large room like the hall from earlier. A staircase was present in the corner of the tight side of the room and led to the second floor. In the middle of the large room were counters and receptionists helping adventurers. Alex went into line and waited until it was his turn. When it was his turn, he was greeted by a cold beauty. She had black hair and black eyes, and a mole was present on the right side of her mouth. Her face showed no emotion, as did her voice.

"Hello. How may I help you?"

"I would like to register as an adventurer."

"Alright, please let me see your ID."

"Here."

"Alright, Lucifer, you are officially an adventurer. Here's your ID card. Is there anything else I can help with?"

"Yes, I would like to buy a Storage Pouch."

"Alright, would that be the Common, Ivory Iron, or Shimmering Silver? Also, would you like to upgrade to a ring for an additional silver?"

"I would like an Ivory Iron, and I guess the ring would be fine."

"Alright, the total comes out to 85 Silver coins."

"Here is the payment."

"Here's the ring. I hope you enjoy your purchase."

Alex nodded to the woman, put on the ring, and left the adventure guild. The Ivory Iron ring had 100 item slots and a dedicated money slot. He put the rest of his money inside, a total of 8 silver. Then he put all his items except for his clothes and worn-out iron sword. Now that he was sure his items were safe, he looked at the reward from Chronos.

[ Spell Book of Time

Rank: Epic

Type: Spell/Skill

This book holds Chronos's early comprehensions of Time. It also holds the spells: Stop, Accelerate, and Warp. ]

"This is insane! This book holds a deity, no, the ruler of time's comprehensions in his early days! It even gives someone three spells. To learn more advanced and complex spells, you need to understand the element of the spell. This has made mages or magical focus classes inferior in the beginning. Of course, they became more and more important and strong later."

Alex immediately used the Spell Book and watched as the item disappeared. A few seconds later, a piercing headache was felt that made Alex drop down, holding his head. A few passersby looked at Alex like he was crazy, but then just moved on. After a couple of seconds, Alex had fully comprehended everything in the Spell Book, and a few system messages appeared.

"These three spells are beginner spells inside the Time Magic branch. They have a variety of uses inside and outside battle. Of course, that doesn't make them any less powerful, as Time is still an advanced element. And to have a decent affinity is also extremely rare."

Alex stood up and started to walk toward the alleyways. He wanted to grab a few quests before he went out looking for someone. The quests were just killing quests and material collection quests. Then there was a quest that correlated with where he was going. While they didn't give out much reputation, they gave out the most for the available quests. The quests were a killing monster quest for the guards, a monster material collection quest for the mage tower, and finally, an old beggar's request. The beggar was once a respected blacksmith until he lost his daughter. He began to drink, neglected item orders, and fell from his position to this, a beggar in an alleyway. While he didn't give any reputation, he did give a neat skill. He used the skill for blacksmithing, however, I believe it has a lot of potential in combat. The quest he gives is unique, and it's called 'Revenge of a Father'. To get the quest, you have to probe for information, and eventually, he will ask you to kill the beast that killed his daughter.

Alex had bought a new iron sword for 3 silver, gotten the quests he needed, and was ready to leave the city and head toward the level 15-20 dungeon called Wolf Den. The three quests he got were as follows:

[ Kill Wolves

Difficulty: Common (Repeatable)

Bring back the pelts of wolves. Every wolf will give you a reputation point, and depending on their strength, bonus rewards will be given.

Rewards: Reputation inside the Violet City, currency.]

[ Material Collection

Difficulty: Uncommon (Repeatable)

Bring back the moss that grows on the walls of dungeons for study.

0/10

The mage tower will buy any monster materials you have.

Rewards: Reputation with Violet City, currency.]

[ Revenge of a Father

Difficulty: Unique

The Sky Wolf that rules over the Wolf Den killed Lamin's daughter. Bring back its head for a suitable reward.

Reward: ??? ]

While Alex wasn't too confident in killing a Sky Wolf, now that he had Time Spells, he believed that he would be able to kill it. The journey was a 5-hour walk from the city, and sadly, you can't own a mount until level 50.

Alex smiled at that thought - level 50, a turning point in both the real world and game world.
