Chapter 96: Hui Yun is giving birth!

We were all laughing so much that I failed to notice that Hui Yun's water broke. "Jie," shouted Hui Yun as I turned towards her and noticed the puddles and water flowing down her legs. She was wearing a white dress so it was self-evident. "Hui Yun, what's wrong?" I asked. " Jie, I think my water broke," mumbled Hui Yun as she held her stomach. "Ah?" I muttered in disbelief.

"I go and get the doctor," announced Cheng Li as she rushed out of the VIP room. The whole room was immediately busy.

I tried to get out of bed but my legs weren't working. Why was this happening."Wei Wei help me get on that wheelchair," I asked as she and Fang Feng helped me.

The doctors rushed in and took Hui Yun in a wheelchair. I guested for Wei Wei to push me towards Hui Yun's direction. 

Hui Yun was soon brought into a public ward however I changed her room to the VIP room next to me. Wei Wei pushed me into that room as I watched the doctors check up on her.

"Miss Fu your contractions have just started and you have only dilated 1cm. You still have a long way to go," explained the doctor. "Accordingly to the previous exam, you have stated that you wanted to give birth naturally. Has that changed?" The doctor asked as Hui Yun shook her head.

"Hui Yun, how are you feeling?" I asked wheeling myself over to her bedside. "Painful," she cried. "It's OK," I reassured her. Since young Hui Yun was always very scared of pain. I don't know how she will manage to give birth.

"Hui Qing you should call your family members first," suggested Fang Fang as she handed me my phone. I don't remember my password but luckily there was the face ID option.

I clicked on the call option and hurriedly pressed on Dad. "Dad, drop whatever you are doing and come to the hospital. Hui Yun's water has broken," I muttered. "What water?" replied father. "She is giving birth you idiot. How are you the father of 3 I wonder," I screamed ending the call. I think I'm losing a lot of brain cells.

"Mum Hui Yun has gone into labour," I exclaimed. "Can you pass the phone to Hui Yun?" Mother ordered as I placed the phone on speaker. "Hui Yun calm down I will be there any moment now. But do you remember where your bags are? I asked you to pack them a few months ago," commented Mother. "There in a blue bag underneath my bed at home. It has everything packed even some baby clothes. Those clothes are white so they would match any gender," explained Hui Yun as she tossed around in discomfort. "Ok, I see it. I'm coming Hui Yun hold on. Also, Hui Qing watch your little sister. Tell her to drink some hot sugary water..." ordered Mother as I quietly listened.

After I ended our call I proceeded to call Huai Zhan. He too was rushing over. However, I later found out he called the head of the maternity department to help Hui Yun. He also called Huai Ning for me. It saved me the hassle. 

"Hui Yun, do you want me to call the baby's father?" I asked as she nodded. "You have his number under the name Zhao Ru Yi. I quickly scrolled down my contact list and found his name near the bottom. "Hello, Miss Fu you are awake, how are you feeling?" he asked. "Now is not meant for pleasantries. Hui Yun's about to give birth get yourself down here to Mercy Hospital," I quickly ordered. He ended the call as soon as I said Hui Yun was giving birth. What the hell is that supposed to mean? 

"Hui Yun was sort of man is Zhao Ru Yi," I asked curiously. "He's the eldest son of the Zhao family. The Zhao family does the architecture business. He's quite an idiot at times but he was kind towards me," explained Hui Yun as she clutched my hand. My hand was slowly starting to hurt but it's ok. I have to be strong for my baby sister. Gosh a few years ago she was just a kid and now she is having her very own kid. Time is surely going quite quickly. 

"I don't think knocking you up is classified as kind," muttered Wei Wei. I still caught what she said though. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Later," she replied.

"We have to get going first but we will come back tomorrow," explained Fang Feng "We have a class in the afternoon,". "Oh right. Goodbye then. Thanks for coming to visit me," I replied politely as they left. Although we used to have a good relationship however I don't remember anything so it's quite hard for me to be close to them. Wei Wei stayed back to watch over us. And also she didn't have a class in the afternoon.
