Chapter 71: The kidnapping (3):

The conversation between Hui Yun and her mum:

Xue Mei Hua: Sweetheart, why are you calling me at this time? I'm working right now. Is there something wrong?

Hui Yun: Mum, Jie Jie has been kidnapped again.

Xue Mei Hua: What? Where? How? Have you reported to the police yet?

Hui Yun: Where: near Rose Park, North of City J. How: By a black van. And yes I've called the police.

Xue Mei Hua: Ok, I'll inform your father. Hui Yun, are you alright?

Hui Yun: Yes I'm fine. I'm at Zhao Ru Yu's company right now.

Xue Mei Hua: Hui Yun come back to the Fu family house we will talk then. Ams Zhao Ru Yu to accompany you over. Also, you call Qi Yan. I'll call your father.

Hui Yun: But I don't have Qi Yan's number.

Xue Mei Hua: I'll send it to you.

Mum ended the call on me and in a few seconds, I received a text from her. She had sent me Qi Yan's number. I quickly dialled the number, it rang for a while and then went to voicemail. I called him again and then he picked up.

From Qi Yan's POV:

'Ring, Ring' the sound of someone's phone rang as we were in the meeting room. I'm already angry over the fact that the proposal wasn't good enough yet someone didn't listen to my rules. "I said before that you're phone is meant to be on silent when we have got a meeting. Whose phone is it that's ringing?" I asked as I heard that there was no more sound.

Everyone in the meeting room looked so scared as they looked at each other. Everyone in this room was primarily managers or higher. This meeting was just a last summary talk about the new game we were launching. it had been tested and was very to be established. Yet there seemed to be some problems. So, this meeting had been quite heated already. I gather sometimes I might be a little too harsh on them. But I can't help it. Perhaps I'm a workaholic like what Ru Yu said.

Secretary Ye gently tapped on me and muttered "Boss, it seems to be your phone. I forgot to close it," as he handed me my phone. I glared at him but looked at my phone to check who had called me. It was an unknown number. I don't know them. I chucked my phone into my blazer and announced for the meeting was to continue.

At that moment my phone rang again. I fetched out my phone and noticed that it was the same number. Who the heck is this? I answered the phone quickly to see who it was. (Following is the conversation between Hui Yun and Qi Yan)

Qi Yan: Hello, who is this?

Hui Yun: Hi Jie fu, this is Hui Yun. Hui Qing's sister.

Hearing that it was Hui Qing's sister my tone softened. But I wonder why she's calling me. I'd anything sharpened to Hui Qing, shouldn't she use Hui Qing's phone to call me?

Qi Yan: Hui Yun mei, why are you calling me?

Hui Yun: Jie Fu. Jie Jie's been kidnapped.

Qi Yan: WHAT?

I screamed as soon as I heard what Hui Yun said. I stood straight up and gestured for this meeting to end. The employers were quite curious why their workaholic boss was letting them go.

Qi Yan: How did this happen? I thought Hui Qing was going to meet Ru Yu with you.

Hui Yun: Yes, we were but she got kidnapped near Rose Park after we walked out of the company. I'll tell you more later but right now you should head towards the Fu mansion. The one in City Y and not City W. Our family already knows what happened, everyone is rushing home. Zhao Ru Yu will take me there so you need to rush over yourself. Remember to drive safely. If anything were to happen to you because of me. I'll be guilty. I think it's best if you ask your secretary to drive you.

Qi Yan: Ok I'll rush right over.

I ended my call and handed my car keys to Secretary Ye, whilst asking him to drive me to the Fu family mansion. I summarised what happened to him as we rushed to my car. Ye Bai Yi started the car and stepped on the pedal and began to drive in the quickest yet safeties way to get there. I know if I was the one who was driving this car, I'll not care about anyone's safety.

I search through my contact and pressed on his number. I called it. As soon as it answered I began screaming at him.

Qi Yan: Chen Jia Ping. Where the hell are you? I don't care where you're. Rush yourself over to the company and be the boss for a few days. I need to go and deal with something.

Chen Jia Ping: Qi Yan ge I just got off the plane. Come on. I need rest.

Qi Yan: I don't care. This company is yours as well as mine. Something happened to my fiancé I need to go and deal with it.

Chen Jia Ping: Ahh what happened to sister-in-law? Alright, I'll rush over to the company. You rest assured I'll deal with what happens in the company. You can go and deal with your business.

And with that, he ended the call. Not long later we reached the Fu family Manor. I rushed inside and saw almost everyone was there.
