Chapter 64: FU HUI YUN! (2):

I opened the door to the store and heard someone say, "Sorry, we haven't opened up yet,". However when she saw me she immediately came up to me and said respectfully "Hello boss,". The 2 other people who were in the shop came up to me and said the same thing. "This is?" she asked. "This is my mei mei, Hui Yun," I explained. The workers turned towards Hui Yun and chorused "Hello, second miss," as she waved them a hello.

I grabbed Jing Li and introduced her to mei mei saying, "She's my assistant and also one of the managers of this shop," All of these co-workers were the same as the ones from my past life. But I made sure not to hire Xiu Ying's cousin Xiao Yue. Last life I did that and it was like planting a bomb near myself. But with the knowledge of the future, I'm sure I won't make the same mistake twice.

"Boss, is there anything you wish to do since your here?" Jing Li asked. "Not really, we are opening in 2 weeks, so I'm just looking to see what needs to change?" I replied. The shop was decorated in the way I planned. The interior design was peach with clothes on display in every way. There was a whole section for each season.

This shop was shared ownership with me and Fu family. Zhao family company specialises in modelling and stuff like that. So when we sign a contract with the Zhao family it's so that they could provide models for us to use when we are introducing new clothes for the season. The reason I put shared ownership with the Fu family is in hope that if anything happens to me the Fu company can help me look after this shop. This shop will always be the Fu family's backup.

At the back of the shop there is a door leading to another big room where most of the designing and making happens. There were 2 big tables. One was filled with paper and designs and the other table was filled with sewing machines and boxes of thread. There were many little tables on the other side of the room with people working on the little parts of the project.

To be honest the latest project was making many sizes of that design I made with Yong Zhen. I already asked whether or not I can put this set on sale and he has agreed. This whole set should be a hit. I even asked Auntie to do some advertising for her friends. Their kids all liked it and have said that they would come to my shop when it officially opens up. So hopefully all goes well when we open the shop next week."So that's why everyone's so busy in the shop," I explained to Hui Yun as she diligently listens.

I looked at my watch and noticed that it was almost time to leave. I have another appointment with Zhao Ru Yu. It was to look over the contracts one more time and to sign them. "Alright, continue working hard. I'll get going first," I announced to Jing Li whilst I wave goodbye to the rest of the sales assistants.
