Chapter 38: Do you've any proof? (1)

"Xiu Ying, do you've any proof according to what you say?" Professor Chen asked. Xiu Ying nodded and proceeded to bring her iPad up to the front. Who the heck brings an iPad to class? If today wasn't a set then I don't know what is. Xiu Ying handed Professor Chen the iPad and she looked very grim. "Feng Xiu Ying, Fu Hui Qing and Si Yong Zhen see me after class in my office," she ordered. I looked at Yong Zhen and we both nodded. Both Yong Zhen and I had a copy of the design so during class we decided that Yong Zhen would go and grab his iPad to show Professor Chen. My laptop was currently with gege because it was hacked a while ago so I had asked him to fix it. It just seems that my laptop got hacked at a weird time. Was this a coincidence or not? 

After class, I texted my friends about what happened in the hope that they could help give me an excuse for my next class which was PE. Even in uni we still had to do PE and military training. And it was so difficult as well. But I'm not at all upset when it comes to missing Physical Ed. When the bell rang Yong Zhen had already rushed out of class to grab his iPad and I waited inside the professor's office for him. "Professor Yong Zhen must have run away because he is guilty," sneered Xiu Ying. I looked at her and retorted "Professor Yong Zhen and I are innocent so he doesn't need to run away. Yong Zhen is only going to grab his iPad,". Xiu Ying was going to retort however Professor Chen cleared her throat and proceeded to glare at us.

She stood up and began to lecture " Before Si Yong Zhen gets here I wanted to have a word with both of you. There have been a lot of rumours around the campus due to you two. I wanted to take this time and ask whether or not you two have something to say to each other,". I looked at her and signed, "When did you and him get together,". Xiu Ying looked at me and whispered, "On the second week after you guys told me you were in a relationship,". My face scrunched up together. So they've been together for so long. How did I not notice it in my past life? For crying out loud why was I so stupid in my past life? Love really makes people blind. "Why did you do it?" I asked. She looked at me and replied, "What?". I could feel my anger rising so I loudly screamed, " Why did you do it? Why did you get with your best friend's boyfriend? Ex now. Was our relationship that bad that you had to make out with my ex-boyfriend even when we were still in a relationship? I treated you as my best friend but what did you do in return?". Xiu Ying laughed and replied "Friends? No, we were never friends. To me, you were just a free ATM. But the worst thing you did was fall in love with Luo Wen Ning. I liked him since the first day we met which was why when you wanted to announce your relationship publicly I advised you to keep it quiet. To be honest I never planned to let you find out, especially not the day after your birthday. I thought that after our affair was publicly known we would get married and we did although Luo Wen Ning was a bit sad on the day but, I dismissed it. The last straw for me was when Luo Wen Ning died at the hospital. His last words were 'Sorry Fu Hui Qing'. Even in his last breath he never forgot you. I thought that I had his body so later on I would've his heart as well. Who would've known that his body was with me but his heart stayed with you? When we left China he wasn't as happy as he used to be. I should've guessed then that he never got over you,". Xiu Ying pulled my collar near her and whispered, "Which is why I'm back to take everything from you,".

Before I could say anything the door busted open and Yong Zhen walked in panting. It seemed like he had run here. "Professor my iPad's been hacked," he panted. I looked at him in confusion and asked "Why's that so much of a coincidence my iPad's been hacked as well? That's why my brother has it,". Professor Chen looked at us and asked Xiu Ying to show us her designs on her iPad. Yong Zhen and I huddled together and we flipped through the designs together. It was the same, even the butterfly was there. Wait yes the butterfly. That can prove our innocence. The butterfly was something I doodled there when thinking about the logo for my shop. And I used that very same logo for my shop. I went to check on the shop three days ago so I have got a picture of the logo on my phone. I looked at Xiu Ying and asked her whether or not she was sure this was her work. Wen Xiu Ying nodded again but I laughed. Yong Zhen looked at me in confusion but my face remained calm so he didn't ask any questions. "Feng Xiu Ying since you said that this is your work then can you explain why is there a golden butterfly stitched at the hem of the trousers?" I asked.
