Chapter 33: Dinner date (1)

"Guy, how do I look?" I asked my roommates turning from back to front. They looked at each other and chorused " gorgeous!". Today I was wearing a pink dress. It had two layers. The first layer was pink and the second layer was a silky transparent fabric which had pink petals embroidered onto it. . I was wearing light spring makeup. I was wearing a pair of flower earrings, a flower necklace and flower rings from Pandora. I was carrying a small pink handbag with red petals embraided on it. My outfit gave off a spring vibe. A message popped up on my phone. It was Qi Yan. He had already arrived and was waiting downstairs. I waved goodbye to my roommates and headed downstairs. He was wearing a dark blue suit and dark blue trousers. He smiled at me as if I was his long-lost lover. I mean we last saw each other this afternoon.

"Have you waited for long?" I asked as Qi Yan shook his head. "But it felt long. As the old saying goes 'I haven't seen you in three days is like me not seeing you for three years," Qi Yan flirted. "But it was just a bit more than three hours," I retorted as he laughed. He opened the door and held one hand to me and another on top of the car in case I bump my head. I smiled lovingly at his consideration. I slipped myself into the car gently nudging Qi Yan's hand. He helped me put my seatbelt on. Kissing me on the forehead after he finished strapping my seatbelt on. He closed the door after he saw me safely in the car. My face blushed hard as I placed my cold hands on my cheek to cool it down. He walked over to the other side of the car and proceeded to start the car. I asked as Qi Yan turned the GPS on. I saw that we were going to arrive at that place in three hours. When the car was set to autopilot I asked "Where r we going?". Qi Yan turned towards me and replied "Secret. You will know when we get there," I glared at him and looked around the car to see if there was anything we could do in the three hours. Qi Yan smiled at me and opened the drawer on the top of the car. I gasped in surprise when the drawer tumbled down with separate gaps for different car games. There was Uno, Uno flip, a set of solitaire cards etc. "Wow," I whispered as he smirked, "I got this all prepared for you. What should we play first?". I picked up the uno flip and said "this," he nodded and assured me, "I'll win. No matter what game,". I glared at him and challenged him saying "bring it on. However whoever loses after 10 games has to promise the other a wish,"

After an hour and a half, we were finally on 9-9. We had played 20 games and it finally came to this. At first Qi, Yan had won up to 6 games and I thought he was gonna win but finally, he was eating +5 cards over and over again. This was our last game. Right now I've 6 cards left and Qi Yan had 3 cards. On my deck, I have two +5 and some other number cards. I placed one +5 down and Qi Yan placed another +5 down and so I placed my last +5 down. He pressed another +5 down and I screamed "That's so not fair," he laughed and shouted "Uno," whilst I had to pick up 20 cards he placed his card down winning the whole game. I glared at him and asked, "What's your wish?". He tidied up the cards, and placing them away he replied "This,". He leaned towards me and gently kissed me. That was quite unexpected. So unexpected that my face blushed as red as a tomato. Qi Yan laughed and whispered, "You're quite red right now. If you're hot you can turn the aircon higher,". I glared at him and the next few minutes were spent in silence. "Are you angry?" he asked. "Oh I don't know?" I muttered, "how about you try being kissed unexpectedly so many times,". Qi Yan glanced at my pouted face and laughed. He leaned over me and whispered, "well next time I feel like kissing you I'll ask first,". I blushed like a tomato as soon as I felt the warmth of his breath hit my face. "Stop teasing me," I shouted pushing him away. I was feeling quite sleepy so I closed my eyes. I think I fell asleep because I could hear one moment Qi Yan had turned on some music and placed his suit on top of me.

My eyes blurred as I opened them. My pupils darted around as they slowly got used to the light around me. I glanced at the small tv set on the Tesla car. The time was seven forty. Qi Yan must have heard me wake up because he passed some water for me to drink. "We've just arrived. I was going to wake you up who knows you already woke up yourself," Qi Yan stated. How the hell did I fall asleep? I glanced at myself I looked at myself in the mirror and noticed that apart from my hair being messed up and my mascara being a bit smudged everything was ok. Qi Yan noticed that I was rummaging through my handbag to look for my mascara and notified me saying "I'll wait for you outside,". I nodded and proceeded to fix myself. I comb my hair, redone my mascara, sprayed some mint into my mouth in case my mouth spelt and sprayed some vanilla perfume. 10 minutes later I finally stepped out of the car. Qi Yan glanced at me and stated "Have you never heard that women need at least an hour to properly get dolled up? I only took 10 minutes it's already very quick,". Qi Yan raised his eyebrows and asked "really?" I nodded. "Don't you have sisters? How come you don't know this?" I asked. He glared at me and began walking towards the restaurant. Did I say something wrong? I ran up towards him and I slipped my hands into his palms. He glanced at me and I answered his questioning gaze by saying " my hands are cold,". After a while, he didn't say anything but I could tell that he had many thoughts on his mind. Clutching his hand I muttered " If you don't wanna say anything then don't. I'll wait for the day you finally open your heart to me," he gazed at me with eyesight I had never seen before laughed and replied, "thank you,". The stroll towards the restaurant was continued in silence again.
