Chapter 107: Jun Jie's one month celebration:

Time went by quickly and I spent my time trying to learn how to walk again. I managed to stand up and walk for a short time, so I didn't use a wheelchair during Jun Jie's one-month celebration.

During this whole time, I almost saw Qi Yan and Song Ze Yu every day. Song Ze Yu would try to have lengthy conversations with me however, I ignored him most of the time. I suppose this way will be better for both of us. Even if I don't have my memories, I don't think Ze Yu did the right thing he lied to me for 2 whole years. If he thinks I'm going to forgive him so easily then boy was he wrong. 

As for Qi Yan, he was just acting so strange. He kept on driving me to and back from the hospital but he didn't speak to me. When we were together there was just a really suffocating silence. It was very awkward. He didn't speak to me and I didn't have anything to talk to him about. I have asked Dad to get Qi Yan to go away however, Dad told me to just treat him as a driver. Which wasn't helping the matter. So this whole matter continued until the day of Jun Jie's one-month celebration. 

It was tradition for us to throw a party when a newborn baby was a month year old. It was just a party to celebrate the birth of a new family member. This party was thrown by both the Fu family and the Zhao family. Because this was a family celebration, only our close families and friends were invited. 

Today I was wearing a sleeveless black top with a light pink skirt that had black butterflies sown on it. I wasn't wearing any extravagant accessories as I wasn't the main person today. Hui Yun was wearing a red dress as red was a lucky colour. Zhao Ru Yu was also wearing a red dress to match Hui Yun. I later found out that my cute litter nephew was also wearing red. 

Jun Jie's one-month celebration was held in the Zhao family's villa in the countryside. It was a great space for star sightings. The area was peaceful as well. It was a brilliant place to hold the celebration party. Huai Zhan and Huai Ning were standing at the door of the villa to invite and address the guests. Zhao Ru Yu and Hui Yun were socialising with the guests inside. I was also socialising with people in my social circle. Qi Yan and Song Ze Yu were standing beside me in case anything happened. 

Soon the party was going to begin. Zhao Ru Yu and my sister were holding this party so they started the party with a speech before my nephew Zhao Jun Jie was brought out to meet all his extended relatives. Jun Jie's godmother (who is Hui Yun's best friend) Alesha Yang was carrying the baby to his parents. Hui Yun immediately took her son and all our relatives rushed over to see the baby. 

As soon as the crowd of relatives rushed to my sister's side, Zhao Ru Yu immediately took the baby out of Hui Yun's hands and carried him just in case she got too tired. Zhao Ru Yu showed every one of our common friends and relatives. After everything got to look at the baby the crowd disappeared as everyone sat in their respective spaces and began to eat happily. 

This whole period I noticed that Zhao Ru Yu was carrying my little nephew so that Hui Yun could eat. "Zhao Ru Yu, I'll carry Jun Jie so you can eat," I suggested placing my chopsticks down. I had already finished eating. Seeing that I had finished, Zhao Ru Yu handed Jun Jie over to me gratefully. 

I looked at my cute nephew and smiled happily. He had really big cute eyes and it seems that he was a monolid right now. Hui Yun had large eyes as a kid but she had double eyelids but Zhao Ru Yu had monolids, so I wondered who Jun Jie would take after. Jun Jie had gained some weight during this period. Looking at Jun Jie, I soon began to wonder what my future kids would look like. Gosh, looking at Jun Jie made me sort of want to have kids.

Was I having a baby fever? I thought I wouldn't have kids. Gosh. I looked at Jun Jie and soon began to tease him using one of Jun Jie's toys. He seemed to be smiling very happily. "Hui Qing, you're a natural with kids," muttered Huai Ning as I smiled. "Not really, it's just that Jun Jie is very close to me as I see him almost every day," I retorted, "And besides, I don't want kids,". Mother laughed and replied, "You're saying this now but in the future, you will definitely want kids,". "I definitely would not want kids," I stated.

Who would know that in the future I would regret saying that. Because in the future Hui Qing would want kids. But that's for the future.
