Chapter 102: My nephew - Zhao Jun Jie:
Not long later we went back inside, just in time for the nurse to push Hui Yun's baby out of the operating room. "Both the mother and son are very healthy. We are going to take the child to do some health checks. Who is coming with us?" the nurse stated as Mom and Auntie Zhao followed the nurse.
Hui Yun gave birth to a son, which means I have a little nephew. Soon Hui Yun was taken back to her room as everyone was caressing over her. "Hui Yun, you worked hard, well done," muttered Zhao Ru Yu as he handed her some water and food to regain her energy.
Hui Yun looked pale and dead. Her hair was all over the place and she had sweat all over her forehead. I gently grabbed some tissue and began to sort her out. She smiled at me thankfully. Tut Tut, I have no clue what Zhao Ru Yu is doing by saying that but it really isn't helping.
After the health checks, the nurse brought my little nephew back to Hui Yun whilst telling her the results. The baby was quite healthy around 8 pounds. I'm not sure if that's heavy or not but by looking at Mom's face it seems to be an ok mass.
The baby was handed over to Hui Yun as she looked at it with a pale face. After a minute or more Hui Yun handed the baby to Zhao Ru Yu as she collapsed tiredly onto the bed. I can never have kids. It's too much pain and work.
"Right now that the health checks are over you guys need to sign his birth certificate. Have you thought of a name yet?" another nurse asked as she came in carrying a certificate. Hui Yun looked at Zhao Ru Yu smiled and muttered "Yes,".
"He will be called Zhao Jun Jie," announced Hui Yun as everyone nodded, It's quite a nice name. The name Jun Jie means handsome and outstanding. It's kind of obvious what my sister wanted her child to be. When giving a name to a newborn baby, the name meaning usually shows what the parents hope the child to be.
The nurse handed them the certificate and Zhao Ru Yu filled it in before handing it to Hui Yun. She read through it and signed her name before handing it back to Zhao Ru Yu. After both of them signed their name the certificate was handed back to the nurse to laminate it. After they record everything the certificate would be given back to Hui Yun.
"Jie jie," Hui Yun shouted as I walked over to her and asked, "What's wrong? Are you in pain anywhere?". She whispered in my ear that she needed to use the toilet. I nodded and helped her out of bed before walking with her to the toilet. After she was done I helped her back onto her bed. Right now everyone is more interested in Zhao Jun Jie than on Hui Yun. Only me and mum were looking after her.
"Should I stay with you guys until Jun Jie is a month year old? I'm on leave from school anyway. I can help you out," I suggested to Hui Yun as she nodded. "We already hired a nanny but I guess another pair of hands is better," announced Zhap Ru Yu as I nodded.
I guess there was another reason why I wanted to help Hui Yun. Well, it's because I don't want to deal with any of this stupid nonsense. I don't wanna see my fiance I don't wanna see Song Ze Yu. Only by being with Hui Yun, I can have an ok excuse.
Hui Yun stayed in the hospital for a week before leaving and returning home. The next time I saw any of them was during Jun Jie's one-month-old party. During this whole time I was helping Hui Yun out as she just had a newly born and god lord having a baby is too much work. I cannot stand kids nor can I ever imagine having kids.
My nephew, Zhao Jun Jie was born on Saturday 18 November 2023. A rabbit baby.
