"Well, I know from your… cousin—" Xavier playfully smiled at her.
'Damn you, Gavriel!!' She can't help but curse Gavriel in her heart for exposing her.
"And what I heard, that man, not really your cousin..." Xavier continued to expose her. It was fun to see her shocked expression, like now, she looks so cute.
Iris, however, felt as if lightning had struck her. She could only respond with a forced smile. She felt so embarrassed because Xavier knew she was lying.
She seemed to no longer hide her status from him; he already knew her identity. The question that lingered was how much he knew.
"Xavier, can you read Gavriel's mind?" she asked curiously.
Iris was confident that Gavriel would never reveal her identity to anyone unless Xavier intimidated or read his mind. She also harbored suspicions that Xavier was much stronger than Gavriel.
She could feel it.
