After ordering a few cakes and a sweet drink, Iris gazed at Gavriel with a serious expression.
"Can you answer my damn question!?" Iris asked in a hushed tone, afraid someone might overhear them; however, her expression looked irritated.
Gavriel was stunned when he saw her angry. 'Why is she in a bad mood again?' he wondered while attempting to read her mind. But when he remembered he couldn't do that anymore, his face slowly turned dark. Felt annoyed.
"Iris, you can speak casually. I've already placed a seal around us. No one can hear what we're saying, even if you scream," he replied, maintaining his calm face.
"Oh, really?" Iris tried to check her surroundings but couldn't discern anything.
"You won't be able to see anything," he chuckled, shaking his head, feeling amused. "What was your question again?"
Iris felt relieved and repeated her question about how her target died naturally when she clearly remembered shooting him.
