"The Occupied Mythril Mine."

The next morning, when Mortis got up, three spirits arrived with full bags. While he slept, he had sent the spirits off to gather herbs or other materials to earn some gold for his journey. Without really looking at everything, he just put it all in his storage ring and made his way to the raid "The Occupied Mythril Mine". Along the way, he met one after another of the Golden Bull guild, who greeted him warmly and were already looking forward to the adventure and the good treasures.

Before the raid, a few knights were stationed again to make sure no one was fooling around or running in overconfidently on their own. The adventurers were once again examined and checked before being taken to a portal that was the entrance to this raid.

As the adventurers passed through the portal, they found themselves in a rather barren forest that seemed desolate and gave the appearance that the forest was facing decay. Everyone moved closer together, fearing they were missing something, but Magna urged the group to keep moving, and everyone followed, except Mortis, who stood there looking questioningly around.

"What are you waiting for, hero?" asked Magna curiously. But Mortis only said, "I was just surprised that some of my abilities won't work here, but I guess that's part of it. It would be unfair otherwise if I was the only one who could summon three companions."

"What do you mean?" the guild leader asked nervously.

"Well, I can only summon one companion at a time, like everyone else, but everything else is the same. Mortis, as long as you're wielding your scythe like yesterday, it should already be unfair that you can generally summon one of those monsters," Magna said.

Magna transformed into a large bull to be the front line tank, and made his way to a large mountain.

After almost an hour of walking and numerous wild animals, the group reached a mine that didn't look like much but still smelled like death. That made some gulp, but they didn't let it stop them. All of them had experienced worse in normal dungeons, and this thrill was what the adventurers needed, Mortis thought to himself.

The group entered the mine where Karghund and his orc wolves were lurking at the entrance. The room was dark and gloomy, with a few torches on the walls casting a faint light. The adventurers quickly noticed that the room was filled with an unpleasant smell of rotting flesh, which came from the dead animals lying in a corner of the room.

Karghund himself stands in the center of the room, glaring at the adventurers. He is a massive, muscular orc, almost as tall as a troll, his skin covered in scars. He wears thick armor of leather and chain mail, which gives him extra protection. Several orc wolves walk around him, growling aggressively and baring their teeth.

Magnus, the tank, gives instructions to his comrades and turns into a powerful bull. He charges at Karghund and rams him with his horns. Karghund is thrown back by the attack, but quickly gets up again and roars angrily.

The orc wolves now leap at the group, but the adventurers are well prepared. The group's healer, Karsten, casts a powerful healing spell to heal their comrades' injuries, while the group's mages use powerful spells to wound and repel the wolves.

Karghund attacks Magna, but the bull tank is able to deflect the blow and push Karghund away. The adventurers continue their attack and after a long and hard fight they manage to defeat Karghund and his orc wolves.

As Karghund falls to the ground, a piece of his armor breaks off and a small, decorated piece of bone falls out. Mortis picks it up and recognizes the runes on the bone. He is surprised, because as he picks up the bone, he suddenly sees small floating lights around it, but no one seems to notice or care except him. So he pockets the bone. Magnus smiles mockingly at Mortis and says, "I suppose you want to take that as a souvenir? But too bad, these things are already known. They're no good, and if you take them out, they'll disappear." Mortis just shrugs his shoulders, because he already noticed yesterday during the conversation that something was wrong. But he'll figure out why he should kill a shaman when she's not supposed to exist here, according to the information.

Without much ado, the group continued on its way, penetrating deeper into the mine. The further they got, the more traces of violence and oppression they found. Bones and remains of beings who had obviously died here were everywhere. Soon they came upon a section of the mine that was guarded by orcs.

But as the group got closer, they noticed something strange. The orcs seemed to be not only mining the mithril, but also enslaving other races. Elves, dwarves, and even humans were forced to work in the mines. Some of them looked emaciated and exhausted, while others had obvious injuries.

The group decided to help the prisoners and fought their way through the orcs. It was not an easy fight, but they succeeded and finally freed the prisoners. The latter thanked them profusely and offered their help.

Thanks to their new allies, the group managed to get to the second boss of the mine. It was Heavy Tooth, the master of the orc miners. He was a powerful warrior and had an army of orcs and goblins behind him.

The fight against Heavy Tooth, the master of the orc miners, was difficult and demanded everything from the group. When the battle began, the orcs rushed at the group to attack them. Magna, the tank druid, positioned himself in the middle of the group and bravely faced the orcs. His strong horns swept through the orcs and his robust nature helped him withstand the orcs' attacks.

The DDs fired their most powerful attacks at Heavy Tooth, but he seemed unfazed. He wore thick mithril armor that simply bounced off most attacks. The healers had their hands full trying to keep their allies alive as Serpentine directed his devastating attacks at the group.

In the middle of the fight suddenly appeared slaves, who were held captive by the orcs. They joined the group and helped to defeat the orcs. The fighting was intense and the group had to work together to defeat the orcs and Heavy Tooth.

Magna kept Heavy Tooth's attention while the DDs focused on the slavers. They cut the chains of the slaves and fought alongside them. The healers were busy keeping everyone alive as the attacks from Swordtooth and his orcs were doing a lot of damage.

The group fought hard and fought bravely. Finally, Heavy Tooth collapsed under the force of the group's attacks and the orcs fled in all directions. The group was exhausted but happy with their victory. They freed the slaves and sent them back to their villages. The group took a moment to rest and heal their wounds before moving deeper into the mine, ready for the next boss.

Mortis was really surprised during the raid how realistic everything felt, even though none of the monsters or orcs had a soul, and none of the slaves did either. Everything was very lifelike, as if the raid had copied a scene from this world or another to create that atmosphere. But just as Mortis stood up and looked around with the others, he again saw the small lights surrounding the nearest bone. Without hesitation, Mortis pocketed the bone, because for him one thing was certain: these bones don't just exist.

When the short break was over, they continued into the mountain, where some orcs were already waiting and trying to stop the adventurers. But without a chance, because the group was well-rehearsed and seemed to have prepared for this raid for weeks, if not months. The further the group got, the harder it was for them to breathe, as soot and smoke hung in the air. When they finally exited the mine shafts, the group found themselves in front of some huge forges and smelting furnaces. Obviously, not only was mining done here, but it was also processed right away. All the jobs were occupied by slaves, especially the dwarves, who were known for their craftsmanship.

When the group was about in the middle of the room, a drum sounded and the work was finished. An old orc woman stepped out of a tent, wearing skulls on her belt, and pointed in the direction of the adventurers. "This is the third boss, forge guard Gorma. Get ready," Magna yelled and everyone got into position as they had discussed the day before.

When Gorma, the forge guard, approached the group, you could literally feel her malicious aura. Her body was wrapped from head to toe in a black robe that exposed only her eyes and her long, bony fingers. With one hand she held a gloomy wand, with the other a small bottle full of a greenish, shimmering poison.

An ominous laugh escaped her lips as she caught sight of her enemies. "You will regret that you dared to mess with me," she growled and began to mutter in a foreign language. Suddenly her eyes turned red and a purple haze enveloped her body.

All the adventurers took out a bottle of poison resistance and emptied it in one go and everyone was ready for battle.
