4. A different fortress

It had been a while, even with the help of the wolf, they haven't reach the small wooden gate they sighted earlier which seems to be farther than they had thought.

"Faster old wolf", Nora's words entered the wolf mind and it increased it's pace.

After about an hour, they get to the gate which looks so old and deserted. They get off the wolf back and head towards the gate, the wolf follow suit acting like a kind of guard to Nora. They both knocked in unison then turn to looked at each other at how they're so in synced.

After knocking for a while, the gate was still not opened and no signs of guards or people which makes them wonder.

"It being a long journey, with no sign of people from miles, all we encountered were wild beast and some insane land creatures, I seriously don't like Land".Rayd said to Nora who looks a bit worried considering what her brother just said.

"It kind of weird, we've been traveling for days with no sign of humans", she answered.

"Hope we ain't lost" Rayd asked his face turning a bit pale. That why he really don't like land, all the ways look the same not to talk of this dense Forest.

"Never, am one of the best route experts you know right?". Nora answered.

"But I haven't seen this in the map the sea goddess showed me earlier before we embark on our journey". Nora said frowning recalling the routes on the map.

"Let check it out" She said to Rayd as she inspect the gate.

The gate looks like an ancient historical base or fortress. It has some Ancient runes and words connected to each other which was used to designed the gate, the runes are in pattern, with some small shiny holes on them and lots of pearls scattered on the edge of the gate. Looking at the piled up grass and many fist sized spiders weaving their webs on each side of the gate, it most have been abandoned for ages.

"Why ain't they weaving webs on the gate" Rayd muttered on noticing that. Although the gate look old, not even a single dirt or dust can be seen on it as if the gate has being washed and cleaned.

"It strange", Nora finally spoke up after inspecting her surrounding to make sure their are no treat or wild beasts lurking around.

"Do you think it a Space vortex" Rayd asked as his eyes glitters at this calculation of his.

If it really a space vortex, how lucky could they be to find one out here, he can't wait to see the luxuries inside the vortex, even though they are wealthy as the only heir of the Sea, but it still not compared to an ancient space vortex treasure.

"It been over 2000 years", Rayd stated still focused.

Nora's eyes widened in shock, "How is that even possible", she questioned Rayd who was busy trying to look for a certain time when the gate is opened by guards or some one so they could know how to get the door open.

A certain image flashed in his mind before disappearing, "Got yah", Rayd said while smiling, he use his mind to project the image before his eyes.

"Heaven's, it not just an image but a moment", he said his smile widening. Nora shook her head and went to lean beside the big wolf who was laying down exhaustedly.

"Be fast with your findings, don't wanna spend more time out here, it really creepy", Nora spoke up, "it almost morning, wild beast will come out looking for food, still not ready to get smoked or roasted". She whisper shouted this time around.

A small golden orb-like globe float toward Rayd and Rayd focused all his attention on the orb-like globe inside his mind to have a better view of what's inside the orb.

It a slim human-like creature, muscular build and a leaf shaped ears, his skin was hairless and extremely pinkish, his white hair drifting elegantly in the air as he walked magnificently towards the door. He dressed in a long white rope which was designed with high grade pearls, his purple pupils omitting some kind of dim light every time he blinked, his Aura was so strong and terrifying which surge with every step he takes towards the gate while the same kind of human-like creatures bows to him as they stand in rows.

Rayd eyes lit up with excitement when the small disappeared, "come hear this Anorah", An act he does when ever he's emotionally unstable.

Hearing Rayd calling out her full name with so much enthusiasm in his voice, then it most be something really cool.

"What's the so much joy for Rayden?", she asked as she lay more comfortably on the wolf bulgy body.

"Guess what, it the Elf's Kingdom space vortex". He said while jumping in the air like a kid.
