"Here you go," she said, presenting me with a small, card-like object.
I examined it with intrigue. "This? What is it?"
"It is your adventurer's ID," Layla explained, a faint smile playing on her lips.
[Name : Alex Walker
Rank : G class : None kills : 00
spiralize in : Magic
No of quest completed : 00
special achievements: None]
I eagerly took the ID card in my hands and examined its contents. The card displayed my name, Alex Walker, and listed my adventurer rank as G. However, to my surprise, there was no mention of a specific class or any recorded kills. It seemed as though my journey had yet to unfold in these aspects.
Puzzled, I raised my concerns. "Why is there no information about my stats here?"
Layla's expression turned serious as she responded, "This card is primarily meant for identification purposes. We deliberately exclude detailed information about your stats to ensure your safety and security."
Curiosity sparked within me. "But why would revealing my stats be dangerous?"
Layla's eyes darted around, as if checking for prying ears. She leaned closer and spoke in a hushed tone. "Revealing your stats can attract unwanted attention, particularly from rival adventurers or even malicious factions within the realm. It's a precautionary measure to safeguard your journey and prevent any untoward incidents."
I nodded, understanding the importance of discretion in a world where power and status held significant sway. It became clear that there were hidden dangers lurking in the shadows, and keeping my stats under wraps was a necessary step to maintain a level of anonymity and security.
"Well, to do that, I have to complete quests, right?" I inquired, eager to dive into the world of challenges and opportunities that awaited me.
Layla nodded, her gaze fixed on me. "Indeed, quests are an integral part of an adventurer's journey. They serve as stepping stones for growth and provide valuable rewards and experience. As a G-Rank adventurer, there are some recommended quests for you to undertake."
She handed me a scroll containing a list of quests specifically tailored for adventurers at my level. I unrolled the parchment and scanned through the options. One quest caught my attention:

She handed me a scroll containing a list of quests specifically tailored for adventurers at my level. I unrolled the parchment and scanned through the options. One quest caught my attention all though it pay less amount of money but it will be good for me to do this quest first and explore the surrounding areas of the village.
"Wild rats?" I repeated, a hint of curiosity in my voice.
Layla nodded, a playful glimmer in her eyes. "Yes, wild rats may seem trivial, but they can wreak havoc on the village if left unchecked. It's a quest that will test your resourcefulness, agility, and problem-solving skills."
I smiled, excited to embark on this seemingly straightforward yet challenging adventure. "I accept this quest. Where can I find the designated collection point?"
Layla pointed to a marked area on the village map hanging on the wall. "The collection point is located near the eastern gate. You can bring the caught rats there once you have completed the quest. Remember to be cautious and well-prepared. The outskirts can be treacherous."
"I will keep that in mind. Thank you, Layla," I expressed my gratitude.
She smiled warmly, her eyes reflecting encouragement. "You're welcome, Sir Alex. May this quest be the start of an incredible journey for you. If you need any further assistance or have questions along the way, feel free to seek guidance from me or other trustworthy people within the village."
I thanked Layla once again for her guidance and turned to leave the Adventurer's Hall. As I stepped out into the bustling village of Tervana, I could feel the anticipation building within me. The quest to exterminate the wild rats seemed simple enough, but I knew it would be the first step on my path to becoming a skilled adventurer.
With the village map in hand, I made my way towards the eastern gate, where the designated collection point awaited. As I walked through the village streets, I couldn't help but observe the diverse sights and sounds around me. The villagers going about their daily routines, the merchants tending to their stalls, and the occasional fellow adventurer passing by, all created a vibrant atmosphere.
Reaching the eastern gate, I found myself standing at the edge of the village. The surroundings transformed from the cozy familiarity of Tervana to the untamed wilderness beyond. The tall grass swayed gently in the breeze, and the distant mountains stood as a majestic backdrop.
Taking a deep breath, I ventured forth into the outskirts, my senses sharpened and my mind focused. The quest to eliminate the wild rat infestation would require me to navigate through dense foliage, uncover their hiding spots, and employ clever tactics to capture them. It was a task that demanded both agility and keen observation.
