Chat with an entity and Choices *Rewritten*

Welcome to the Reality Bender System! A chipper voice awoke me from my comatose state, my eyes slowly blinking open as the stark white void around me seeped into my vision.

'What is this place?! Wasn't I dead, better yet wasn't my organs melting?!' My eyes darted around the white void only to find nothing, literally nothing, no items, people, hospital room... Void.

`Currently you are within what some would call LIMBO, but you can just call me !@&$%^.`

"I must be going mad, I'm now hearing voices... " I started to slowly settle as the unsettling blankness of the space started to feel like a cage to me.

`Wrong, you are not going mad, you are merely transitioning from LIMBO to something else... You will get used to it don't worry!`

This time as I looked around I saw a bright blue flash of light appear in front of me, a well-dressed, suave-looking man of silver hair, red eyes, and a finely pressed suit stepped out of the flash before the color was consumed by the void of color.

"Who are you!? Wasn't I dead!?"

`Haha, well let us get introduced shall we!`

The random man in this space suddenly waved his hand, a ripple billowing out from the cuff of his well-tailored blue suit. As the ripple moved it seemed to crack and reform space as almost instantaneously a dinner table and chair appeared out of thin air.

"W-what is this? Magic?" I was still concerned over my death but momentarily focused on the mysterious man in front of me. He seemed eccentric and honestly a bit creepy despite his outward appearance.

The man smiled in the face of my question and once again flicked his wrist pulling back the chairs before gesturing towards them. His eyes snaked over my body a little before coming back to my eyes.

`To answer your very first question, yes, you are dead... Now for the second question`

'Oi! You can't just throw me off like that!' I pouted a little at his quickness and felt somewhat confused by the whole ordeal.

`Haha, sorry I shouldn't throw you off like that, but, no, it's too fun not to... Anyway, no that wasn't magic.`

I was a little saddened by the fact it wasn't magic but I focused back on him and attempted to get to know him a little more.

"That's unfortunate."

`It's divinity, much better in comparison.`

Silence enveloped the area for a minute before I sighed heavily and facepalmed. 'What is it with this man and having a laugh at me!?'

`Sorry, sorry, it's just so fun... I haven't talked to someone this way for millennia. Hah, anyway, I'm here to guide you to an opportunity I'd like to give you!`

'Gah, I forgot he could read minds...' "Well, I'm dead yes?" He nodded slowly as I continued thereafter, "Does this 'Opportunity' you're giving me give me a second chance at life?"

This time his head cocked to the side ever so slightly as his red eyes seemed to pierce through my very existence, causing shivers to quiver up my 'body'?

`Yes it does, in fact.`

"What is this opportunity? Could you explain it to me, I'll only accept once I have all of the facts."

There was yet another pause, it seemed as if this being loved them, before gradually the being or man, or whatever he was slowly rolled his fingers across the table.

`Very well... To begin with, I am offering you a chance to reincarnate. This is the basics of the opportunity, secondly, you will have to choose between different species to reincarnate as. These species will be basic however, there is an option to do a gacha-like spin for your starting species but that is entirely up to you.`

He paused briefly yet again as I began processing the information, my choices and the main offer of reincarnation.

`Thirdly, your reincarnation point will be totally random. You could start off on your original planet, or you could end up in some of the worst universes like Warhammer. Fourthly, I hope you live as you wish... Your life was very short-lived and most of it was filled with sickness and a lack of hope. Plus, it's more fun for me!`

The mood had reached a seriousness that I hadn't expected from his earlier behavior until his last little comment which caused me to cough for a little while in exasperation.

"Okay... I think I understand everything."

`That's good. So, what is your decision?`

"Hah... Well, I have very little choice because I doubt I'll come back as me if I disappear from here. Yep, I'll take your offer, what's there to lose... it's not like I have anything that you'd want anyway."

`That's not true... Entertainment, that's what you can offer me`

A bright beaming smile cascaded from the man's face, 'is he a man? Is he a god, must be, stupid question and thought.' His smile only got wider as I finished my thoughts behind an almost stagnant expression on my face.

`Very Good! Let us start then!` With great bravado and gusto, he leapt from his seated position and started walking towards the blue light that had somehow manifested before my eyes even though I had been staring in that direction the whole time I was conversing with the man.

'Let's just hope he ain't screwing me over.'
