Chapter 51: SECOND THOUGHTS

Seconds passed while Flynn stared at me, stunned as he digested what I'd said to him. I was still kneeling on the bed, and he was still standing in front of me, naked as the day he was born, but way more appealing than any baby I'd ever seen. My heart pounded in my chest, and I knew I probably looked a lot more confident than I felt inside.

When he still hadn't responded, I exhaled slowly and shifted to sit on my butt with my legs to the side. I eased myself away from him and, once I had some distance, I rolled off the mattress and stood up on the other side of the bed. The cameras had stopped. I'd known their batteries wouldn't last much more than twenty minutes. I'd used most of the cameras during my shoot with Evette and Elias.

I wandered over and grabbed my jeans, trying to look casual. I pulled them on and slipped into my t-shirt. Flynn stilled, silently watching me, and I thought he was having second thoughts about what we'd done.
