Tearia patiently healed Xilo while Xelfia and Felli fought against Aeon. "He's quite strong, I wonder why I never heard of him before now?" Tearia's Grandfather used to tell stories of all the strong people around the world and their accomplishments. She used to enjoy those stories quite a lot, it was a time for them to just bond and get along. "He never mentioned Aeon from what I can remember." Maybe he never got around to Aeon or just didn't know about him, there were a few possibilities. "He should be able to help Xilo though." Once Xilo's wounds were all taken care of Tearia set his body against the bench and watched the fights. After a few more hours passed Xelfia and Felli had finished with Xilo waking up at the perfect time.

"That's enough for today, I've got a good idea now of where you all need work. I'll make a more personal training for the three of you from now on. The rest of the day will be for other things, Oi Xilo are you awake yet or are you just going to lie around all day doing nothing?"

Grabbing his head, Xilo's eyes opened as he barely put out a response.

"Yeah, I'm awake."

"Good, I'm not done with you. Get up and follow me. We've got some more learning to do. You girls stay here, I want you to talk with some of the people here and get to know them. This is just for me and Xilo"

"This is...hell."

Lurching forward Xilo stood up and followed Aeon out of the courtyard leaving behind the girls. "Where are we going?" They walked down a barren hallway letting their footsteps be the only sound they heard. "Katrin asked me to do this as a show of trust." Making his way to the medical area Aeon turned a corner and entered a nearby room. "This is where they kept him I think." Looking around the room Aeon tried to find the boy Xilo's group had almost killed. The bed he was supposed to be on was empty though. "...I don't think she would have already done it." Looking around a bit more Aeon tried to see if maybe he picked the wrong room but he was nowhere to be found.

"Uh Aeon, what are we doing here exactly?"

"I was trying to find that person...Laven I think was his name to make sure he was dead however I can't find him."

"If you can't find him then it's fine, I know Katrin promised me all those things if I agreed to her but I don't care if they're fulfilled by you guys. There's a part of me that wants to take care of it myself. They are my problems, so I should be the one to deal with them."

Aeon paused as another flash of anger passed by his face.

"While that isn't a bad way to think, Xilo, you seem to carry this sense of duty that no one should. Telan asked you to join his clan and you rejected, Katrin asked you to be a leader of a new one and you got black mailed to join. During that training we had earlier I clearly ended the fight yet you still kept trying. It's good to be stubborn but if you become so inflexible you will break and snap into pieces and sometimes...it's honestly just annoying. Let others help you and accept that with a smile."

"....Sorry, I'm just not used to help and doing things on my own gives me a sense of accomplishment. I don't try to not rely on others, I just don't want to burden them."

"It's fine, just be a bit more open. Well I can't find him, so I guess I'll need to report back to Katrin and see if she knows anything about it. With that being a flop, let's go to the study room together. All those people you were introduced to today will be coming to meet and talk with one at a time. You're goal is to get to know them better and who they are as a person, their strengths, their weaknesses and maybe they're loyalty."

"What do you mean by loyalty?"

Scratching his head Xilo understood that first part, the second part left him confused.

"In those twenty people, one of them is a rat. I probably shouldn't be telling you this but Katrin will be using that person to watch you. The other 19 are fine. This will be a bit of a test to see how well you can understand others characters and let you learn to communicate better. Are you up for the challenge even if it's something you can't solve with brute force?"

"You know, telling me that will only make me trust them less..."

"Not my problem."

"Fine, fine, I'll do my best."

After a bit more walking they entered a large room with a desk and a few chairs around it. Aeon beckoned him to sit down and wait while he got the first person. Staring around the room there were a few little book shelves that lined the right side of the wall. The left side had a giant map of the country along with a few paintings on it. The floor was lined with a red carpet and wooden chairs with a glass table in the centre. "So this is the office I'll be using." Before Aeon left he said this would be his room from now on as the leader of this new Clan. "I need to figure out a name as well..." A bit overloaded, Xilo waited for the first guest to arrive. After a few minutes he heard light knocking on the door.

"Come in."

The door opened with a quiet creak as a woman entered the room, his second test of the day had already begun.

"it's time to get to know this person."

Forcing an awkward smile, Xilo let them sit down as he scanned their body

Enjoy.
