I make bread rain

"Alright. Come to the palice gates first thing next morning. Then we'll announce my rule."

And I would use my first miracle.

So with a hushed goodbye the priest left.

And I studied until I fell asleep at my desk.

Early in the morning I organized for a podium to be set up for me. It would be placed in the poorest marketplace in the city where the most people would be looking at the food prices knowing that they would have to choose whether them or their kids would eat tonight.

After that I went to meet the priest. He stood stock still with a rigid posture outside my palice. It made me wonder if he had a past in the military.

"Okay. Follow me to where we'll be announcing." I said.

He nodded

I then walked to the marketplace we had chosen.

.:.:.:.:.

"PEOPLE GATHER AROUND!" With a scream people began to gather around me. After all with my charm it would be weird if they didn't.

With a few screams I had gathered almost a thousand people nearly every person in the marketplace was here.

"Priest! Give them your announcement!"

The priest raised his hands into the air.

A golden light began to gather around him.

"The god of wishes, GIGA ChADUS declares Greg as the divine king and rightful ruler of the world!"

I raised my hand into the air grandly.

I'm very grand.

"As proof of my divine right I shall grant my new people a gift! I wish for bread to rain from the sky for the next minute."

The sky began to glow with golden light and loaves of bread began to fall.

People reached their hands into the air and began to catch them.

Each of these people were starved. One could tell just by looking at their bones sized arms and gaunt faces.

But at this moment a supposedly evil tyrant that had come to power just yesterday fed these people.

That was something the king had failed to do.

The benefits I would reap for my reputation and the security for my rule would be massive.

I couldn't help but grin at my success

I went back to my room after that and continued reading through history.

There was so much about this world that I didn't know.

But I could already tell that the history was tainted. The history was not realistic, but instead shrouded in propaganda.

It was a kings tale sprinkled with a peasants truth one could say. Most of it was a lie or slightly off. But their were nuggets of insight if you could read between the lines.

I dropped my book.

The air shifted. It now held a tang of killing intent.

The first one had came. The thing I had been waiting for.

I picked up my gun. It was time for me to assasinate the assassin.

I flicked the gun to where my gut told me the assassin was.

"Bang!"

The air in front of me rippled.

So I slammed my head into the ripple.

"Ah!" A disembodied voice screamed as I did so.

I then pointed my gun in the direction where the ripple was.

But I didn't have time as some blunt force slammed into my stomach.

I buckled over onto the ground.

My heart beat in my throat, sweat appeared on my brow. My hands began to shake.

I could feel it approaching.

Death.

But I'll be honest. I didn't feel a hint of fear.

Because I'm not afraid of death. It's my choice.

The ground was splattered with blood. I had come so far. Fought so hard.

But now it was the end.

....

Of that stupid assassin of course! You think a fucking divine being like me can die?! Fuck no.

As the assassin fell on me I shoved my fucking gun in their fucking mouth.

I and banged it. That's right I banged that mouth. I banged it so hard that their head exploded.

And now they're dead! Just because I'm that fucking good at banging!

Fuck yeah.

I stood over their filthy fucking invisible body and grouped around them.

They were still invisible and I had to find their off switch.

Is their an off switch?

Don't ask me you fucking fatass retard! I could break your skull in one different ways!

Anyways after a few minutes of searching I managed to find an off switch.

Or more specifically an off button. There was an amulet around their neck and all I had to do was press on it to turn their invisibility off.

And when I pressed the off switch I saw something bearing grave tidings.

On the chest of the headless assassin was an insignia of a dragon with fire coming out of it's mouth.

It was the insignia of a specific city state.

One that I knew from my readings of history was more dangerous than anything to have as an enemy.

The city of titans rise.

It was a city filled with beings that people called immigrants.

Beings coming from beyond the mist wall that had mistical powers.

I had learned that the mist wall was a literal wall of mist at the ocean that people had passed through and never came back from.

It was also where immigrants came from.

Why giga chadus didn't want me to pass through that wall?

It still has no clue. I assumed it had something to do with where the immigrants came from.

Anyways back to the matter at hand. The most powerful organisation of any kind had just declared war on me.

I would need to study up. Because if I didn't know how to defeat them then I would be screwed.
