Cultivation and tribesmen

As we hopelessly floated through the sea a question appeared in my mind. Could I cultivate like Tzu did? If all his power came from cultivation then surely I could ge that power too.

I looked down at my skinny crippled form.

When I first came into this world I had been resonaobly strong. I fought a tiger for christs sake! But now I was weak. I couldn't walk. My arms were too weak to carry me. I was physically inferior to the people around me.

If only building a military could be easier. Maybe then I could use next months wish to get stronger.

I would get that wish at the end of the week. So unless I managed to put together a respectable military in that time. I would have to give up my chance at getting healed.

"HEY TZU!" I yelled. He was on the other side of the boat and I couldn't exactly walk up to him. So this was the only other way to go.

"YES!" Tzu yelled back

"CAN YOU TEACH ME HOW TO DO THOSE CULTIVATION STUFF!" I yelled

Joe, who stood at the helm of the boat looked down at me.

"You're not an immigrant from his lands. It won't work Greg." Said Joe

I shook my head in defiance.

"I can at least try." I said

Joe sighed.

"It's not going to work."

He was wrong. I'm more than just a regular native. I'm Greg. I'm the rightful ruler of the world. I am both genetically and intellectually superior to everyone around me. The rules of reality would bend for me.

Tzu walked up to me and put his hand on my chest.

"Okay. Let me try and engage your meridians."

I sat there silently for about a minute.

"Are my meridians engaged yet?" I asked Tzu.

He took his hand off my chest and shook his head.

"No. You don't have meridians to be engaged. It's impossible for you to cultivate."

I looked up at Tzu.

"I don't think that's true try again." I said.

His eyes sharpened.

All the sudden his saber was at my neck.

"IF I say it's true then it's true!" He shouted.

I shouted back.

"NO! There's no way that I can't cultivate! I should be able too!"

After all I was Greg. I was the Goat. I was a real bonafide God amongst men. There is nothing I couldn't do.

Tzu huffed and took his saber from my neck. He turned around and walked away.

"Once everyone else in the world is dead I'll really enjoy killing you." Said Tzu.

I glared at him. I could smell the lies wafting off him. He wanted me to think I couldn't cultivate to keep me weak.

"Maybe you guys should find something more productive to do than arguing about biology. Tzu can cultivate. Greg can't. It doesn't really matter." Said Joe.

I could not bring myself to agree.

🐐🐖🐐🐖🐐

A icy spray of water caressed my face. The sound of waves crashing and lighting striking echoed throughout the sea.

We were in a storm.

I held on as tight as I could to the edge of the boat as the blue headed undead hurriedly ran from place to place trying to keep the boat intact.

Tzu sat at the front of the boat casually watching the storm as if it was just his usual sunday.

Joe at the back of the boat.

He had a white knuckled grip on the wheel as he looked ahead with mortal dread covering his face.

I turned my head to look in Tzu's direction again.

He was smiling as he watched the boat sail straight towards a stone wall.

"TURN! TURN! TURN!" I screamed at Joe.

He didn't.

With a hail of splinters the boat crashed into the stone wall.

Tzu casually ran up the stone wall as the boat crashed. I watched on in confusion. Joe just stood there with his hands around the wheel as his teeth chattered in fear.

For the next few hours me and Joe stayed there on the boat.

Until finally the sun started to shine through the clouds and the waves calmed. The storm had abated.

A few minutes after that a group of men with tanned faces, well developed muscles and numerous scars jumped down from the rock wall and onto the boat.

They wore only loin cloths made from a type of fur that I had never seen before.

"Did you guys get stranded here too?" I asked them

One of the tribal men started to walk towards me. They did not respond at all to my question.

"Let go of me!" Yelled Joe as one of the tribal men grabbed him by the armpits and picked him up.

Joe threw many kicks into the tribal man's face but each time a blue barrier would appear that blocked the blow.

A tribal man also lifted me up. I didn't bother to resist as he hefted me over his shoulder.

"Where are you taking us?" I asked the tribal man.

"We take you to living place. For chief fun." Said the tribal man.

Okaaaaaay. What exactly is chief fun though? Let's hope it's not something sexual.

With but a single bound the tribal man jumped up the rock bank.

The other tribal men jumped up with them.

Joe at this point had calmed down and was following my example of just limply accepting fate.

These people were quite strong. I wonder If I could figure out how to get their strength too. It was unnatural for one as weak as I to be weak.

I looked at the tribesmen with critical eyes.

Even if I didn't get their strength I would get their power.

They might not suspect it right now. But the person they were carrying home was their new king
