Anderson

I sat on the ground. My arms were crossed and I had a regal expression on my face. I was patently waiting for Sarha and the gambling merchant to arrive. As I was their superior it was there prerogative to come to me. I would not come to them.

I waited for about twenty minutes.

Sarha and the gambling merchant walked towards me.

The gambling merchant had the same old pot belly and Sarha had that same resting glare. It felt like it had been a lifetime since I'd seen them.

But It'd been less than a week.

Sarha's glare left her face the moment she saw me.

Instead there was confusion

"WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!" She screamed

My eyes shined with smugness.

"I gained back my true form." I told her calmly

I totally wasn't lying. After all I am Greg. I am divine. I am a god like being. It was natural for me to have wings.

She took a deep breath.

"I can't say that I'm all to surprised by that." She said.

"I can't say that I'm all that surprised either." Said the gambling merchant

I smiled at their statement of unequivocal facts.

"So are you wondering why I called you two here?" I asked

"Of course we are." Answered Sarha quickly

"Well then let me assail your doubts." I said

I guestred for them to sit down next to me.

"So. I have a plan." I said

"Then tell us." Said the gambling merchant.

~No need for formalities then~

"I want you two to cooperate with another land I've conquered. It's an island whose economy is entirely supported by merchants. Your cooperation with them when combined with our control over this trade route should make founding a merchant republic much quicker." I said

Sarha only sighed. This would mean more work for her.

The gambling merchant on the other hand smiled.

"Okay. Where are they. I'll get in contact with them as soon as possible." He said

Unlike Sarha he seemed more willing to help.

"I never got your name. What are you called again."

The gambling merchants brows shot so far into the air that I swear they shot straight off his head.

"You said that you intended to never learn my name." He said

"I did. But i've changed my mind sooooooo, what's your name?" I asked him again

What are you calling me shameless? I'm not shameless? Not in any way shape or form. I'm perfectly perfect in the most perfect way perfect can be.

"My names Anderson." He said

I nodded

"Okay." There was not much more to say after that. It was just a name after all.

I pulled out my book of maps.

"Okay. Anderson can you go get your navigator or something. I'll show you where the city is."

Anderson scurried off.

I sat in awkward silence with Sarha.

"So. How has running the island been?" I asked her.

"Things have been more optimistic than ever. But it's also alot of work. The only down time I get is sleep and going to the bathroom."

I smiled at that notion.

"I know. It's fun isn't it."

She looked at me with deep uncomprehending confusion as if my eyes had just been replaced with hands.

"Your crazy." She said

I put my hand to my chest and let a exaggerated gasp of offence leave my mouth.

"No I'm not. I'm totally sane. Your the one that's crazy."

She snorted

"Pfft. Yeah right."

"I'm back!" Yelled Anderson.

I turned to look an him. At his side was a small woman she had a bandanna tied around her head. Short lice cut hair and kind eyes.

She was strangely close to Anderson. So close in fact that she was practically leaning into him.

"This is my navigator and wife. Her names Ryna."

Ryna looked at me with an expression close to awe

"You didn't tell me your new boss was literally an angel." She whispered.

"It's just a recent development honey." He said

She couldn't help but look confused by that.

"Anyways." I said

I opened the book of maps and pointed to a specific section.

"I need you to have a look at this map here." I said

She unfruled her map which she had stored in a wooden tube on her back and placed it on the ground.

"Hmmmmm. Yes I see." She took a pen from her shoe and scribbled on her map.

"I'll chart a course tonight. I should be able to finish it by tomorrow."

I gave her a enthusiastic thumbs up.

"GOOD!"

I stood up.

"Okay. Now that that's out of the way I need to go. I'll need to inform the ruler of that place of your arrival. Then it's off to consolidate you two with the nation I own on land."

I put my hand to my head.

"I still can't remember what that place is called."

"You really seem to be bad with names don't you." Said Anderson

"Yup."

Fire shot from my feet. And with that I was gone.

I flew away.

🐐🐖🐐🐖🐐

I touched down on Rob's balcony.

I peeked through the curtains blocking his doorway to his room.

He was laying with his face buried into his pillow. Snores emenated off him.

"HEY!" I yelled.

He jolted awake with such force that he literally shot of the bed and onto the ground.

I walked up to him.

"You up now?" I asked

He simply groaned.

"Yup. I'm up." He said.

I nodded.

"Good. A merchant by the name of anderson will be coming by here soon. He's going to want to work with you to build a republic. Make sure to be cordial." I said.

He only groaned louder.

"Did you have to do this now!" He exclaimed

"Better now than later." I responded.

I turned around and sprinted out of the room. I pushed the curtains blocking the balcony aside and jumped off the balcony.

I needed to go find Joe and organise the tribesmen. They would be instrumental in the running of my nation in the main land.

And I would need good management. It was recently conquered so It was in a fragile state. If you look away from it for one second and it will be festering from rebellions like normal people fester from lice.

I would be lucky if it was still together after I had ignored it for so long.

I'd have to be really really lucky.
