The Hunt: Aftermath (5)

I have finally returned home. This is maybe the first time that I am so excited to see the huge manor. On regular days, I have never ever looked at it and appreciate the details closely, not until this moment. In my eyes, the bricks and marbles look more like gems and gold, and the manor is a luxurious palace carved in jade. 

It really is true that you would never appreciate what you have not until you lose them. Or in my case, I did not lose anything, but I did suffer for almost a week. Those days in the wilderness, surrounded by nothing but endless trees, monsters, and only God knows what else lurks there. I even have no idea if or when the enemies would suddenly jump out and kill us while Lukas was still out like a light. 

My life surely is never boring. I don't know why I ever said it was boring to be me.
